He took the time to understand our requirements, stayed committed throughout the search, and helped us find the perfect property. 22nd Jul 2026 (13 days ago)It's been a brilliant experience moving with Winkworth and I have to give a massive thank you specifically to Jamie Solis who helped us sell our property and buy a new one - great communication throughout the whole process, always able to answer our questions (millions of them...) and generally just a calm, patient, reassuring and informed guy, who was clearly very motivated to get us the house we wanted, and to sell ours.<br>We've experienced a few estate agents in Farnham and Winkworth were far and away the best experience we've had. Thanks Jamie and team!
1st Apr 2026 (18 weeks ago)I have bought and sold through Charters in Alton on a few occasions now, they are extremely personable and go the extra mile to provide an exemplary service - they make the effort to understand what I want when I am looking to purchase, and again when selling they have never let me down, they have amazingly sold more than one property for me immediately to the first person who has viewed. (This backs up that they do not waste peoples time, they get to understand what you are looking for and match you to a property - this is only achievable when you are an expert in your job!). Charters Alton are totally friendly, professional and informative with a nothing is too much trouble approach - this has been proven by Sarah, Jane, Toby and not forgetting Lisa who is part of the progression team. I would only ever go to Charters as first port of call when it comes to selling my property. Well done on completing the sale and purchase for me, fabulous as always, and once again you never let me down!

From the initial discussions, through viewings and negotiations and finally progress chasing an arduous chain Jacob, Alison and Rob worked tirelessly to ensure that I could sell my house and move on.<br>I recommend anyone selling a property in the Bramley, Tadley areas to use Belvoir. Really lovely people.

He provided a realistic valuation, provide a swift marketing service, having gone live on Monday, with two viewings within 24 hours and several scheduled for that week, both initial viewings yielded offers, one of which was at the full asking price. Property sold subject to contract as at 30 May 2026 I would highly recommend Charlton Grace, Mark has provided a bespoke/specialised service with clear communication and professionalism all at a very competitive agency rate, excellent job to date. 18th Jul 2026 (17 days ago)This has genuinely been the worst experience I have ever had with any estate agent. Having been both a homeowner, a landlord and a tenant over the years, I have dealt with plenty of property professionals. I have never experienced a company that has caused this level of unnecessary stress, frustration and conflict.<br><br>Throughout my tenancy, repairs that were clearly the landlord's responsibility were repeatedly delayed despite constant chasing. When contractors were finally instructed, some later contacted me directly because they were struggling to get paid by Bourne and asked me to assist. I also found myself repeatedly having to defend myself against accusations that I had failed to communicate with contractors or had somehow caused delays. On more than one occasion I had to produce complete email chains, WhatsApp messages and text conversations to demonstrate that what I was being accused of was simply incorrect.<br><br>The end of my tenancy has been even worse. I have repeatedly been told that I am contractually required to do things that, after carefully reviewing my signed tenancy agreement, simply are not required.<br><br>Whenever I have challenged these demands, instead of receiving a professional explanation, I have felt intimidated, spoken down to and placed under unnecessary pressure. Time and time again I have had to refer Bourne back to their own tenancy agreement and provide documentary evidence to correct information I had been given. No tenant should have to spend their time proving that an estate agent is wrong about the very contract they are administering.<br><br>The overwhelming impression throughout my tenancy has been an organisation more interested in creating pressure than resolving problems. Rather than acting as a professional intermediary between landlord and tenant, I have found Bourne to be confrontational, dismissive and, at times, wholly unreasonable.<br><br>My advice to anyone considering using Bourne Estate Agents is simple: keep every conversation in writing, retain every email, text message and WhatsApp conversation, and read your tenancy agreement yourself rather than relying on what you are told. In my experience, it is the only way to protect yourself.<br><br>Without question, this has been the most stressful and disappointing experience I have ever had with an estate agent, and I would never choose to use Bourne Estate Agents again or recommend them to anyone.

I couldn't have had a better team stear me through the ups and downs of a seller making unreasonable demands.

19th Jul 2026 (16 days ago)Review to prospective sellers in Basingstoke, UK.<br><br>Contacted multiple agencies. Not one of them impressed me, nor showed any genuine competancy to sell.<br><br>For the sake of giving prospective sellers an idea for each of them, i've summarised my experience below:<br><br>B4rons: low energy, low-pressure sales (i don't know when this is ever a good thing). Agent takes photos themselves + their photos on Rightmove did not impress me.<br><br>Ew4m0ve: the director was rude + thought he was doing me a favour, so i moved on. Was afraid to call me back and have a conversation + stuck to emails alone. I can't build a rappport like that, sorry. Magically believed he could sell well above market demand price despite my neighbour selling 30k below that.<br><br>C0nn4lls: lacked knowledge + experience, and valued property well below market price. I suspect he wasn't capable of selling at market price (which explains lack of exp). Zero sensible rebuttals and waffled.<br><br>G&P: were more interested in measuring my property than having a genuine convo. I let him measure (even though it was extremely weird to turn up to a seller's home, build zero rapport and pull out the laser measure). Offended my wife by his mannerisms/behaviour, so he had to go. Out of date and bored me to death - sent packing.<br><br>M&Co: unimpressive w/ zero sale skills. Was more interested in hearing his own voice than allowing me to speak.<br><br>Now onto Chancellors:<br><br>Ged, the branch Sales Manager, was a joy to work with. He was always early/on-time, unlike the other agencies. He asked all the right questions, and presented sensible responses. My only area of improvement would be to allow clients to speak, because sometimes it was difficult to get him to stop + listen BUT I loved his energy, his passion to sell (at a reasonable price) + the accessibility to him.<br><br>Absolute credit to Chancellors. He remained accessible, even on weekends. Never once turned me away and was genuinely happy to help im responding to our queries.<br><br>The 4* rating is NOT because of Ged. He is being let down by the other agents there. If they stay, it'll be a sinking ship.<br><br>Ana: if it wasn't for the 1-2 calls/emails at the start + for collecting my keys, i'd have no idea who she was. Added little value.<br><br>Aimee: was marketed as loving rooksdown but none of that was demonstrated to me. Again, if i hadn't received a call (at the end of the process), i also wouldn't have ever known who she was. Struggled to understand where she added value in being 'client facing' as no real client engagement w/ me.<br><br>Tanja: major liability. Was marketed as being a law graduate but was not a pleasure to work with. Added little to no value in 'progressing the sale' (which is her job). She failed to comms with my lawyer + kept contacting me w/o the presence of my lawyer. Had to tell her multiple times to keep my lawyer apprised. Failed to manage buyer-seller relationship as i was being fed absolute garbage; before any of those silly asks were even being presented to me, she should have communicated with the buyers and informed them that certain buyer asks were absolutely silly. I called her numerous times during the process, 95% of the time she was unobtainable and didnt respond despite leaving VMs + emails. She favoured the buy side as she told me they would return to her with a suitable completion date, when this really would be a discussion for mutual agreement between both parties. If i ever needed an agencies service again, ill be asking to check she doesnt work there. Was an utterly unpleasant experience and we struggled to understand her role, usefulness and value to the conveyancing process (which was largely led by my lawyer, and in liaison directly with the sell-side legal team). In the end, i was fed up of her 'representing my interests' and informed her (via legal) that i would be pulling out of the sale completely. She did not sanitise any asks from buyer side + simply copy-pasted any/all 'requests' by the buyer into an email to me. That's hardly doing a job a sales progressor should do. She was as useful as a chocolate teapot.

My latest sale handled by them through the Oakley office took around six weeks from first viewing to completion! All the Brockenhurst team where professional and helpful at every turn, but a big mention to Ashlea Herrod {Move Manager), who has been particularly sipportive in getting the sale over the line. Whilst we sold with another agent, we bought with Brockenhurst and they’ve helped us massively with our searches, finding our perfect house, and have kept us up to date throughout the process. I feel very confident with the process going forward, and we can’t wait to get into our dream home!
