Disgraceful.<br>On the 26 July, one of the senior staff at the branch tried to gain entry to a property that I am renting from them without calling me first.<br><br>And it seems as though they were only nice to me when they get their way. From the initial discussions, through viewings and negotiations and finally progress chasing an arduous chain Jacob, Alison and Rob worked tirelessly to ensure that I could sell my house and move on.<br>I recommend anyone selling a property in the Bramley, Tadley areas to use Belvoir. Really lovely people.

They kept us updated every step of the way, so we always knew what was happening, which made the whole buying process so much less stressful.<br><br>Everyone was incredibly friendly, approachable and genuinely helpful. The communication was fantastic throughout, and it really felt like they valued us as customers and wanted to do everything they could to help. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and any questions we had were answered quickly.<br><br>We couldn't recommend them enough and are so grateful for all of their support in helping us buy our new home. Essential repairs (including sanitation and plumbing issues) were significantly delayed despite funds being provided, with no clear or committed timelines given. Information provided to me as the landlord was also inconsistent with what tenants were being told directly, which created unnecessary confusion and frustration for all parties.<br><br>I made repeated, good?faith attempts over an extended period to resolve these issues constructively and proportionately. Unfortunately, each attempt was met with a hard, inflexible position rather than meaningful engagement or resolution. I am happy to share the full written correspondence if required, as all communication was conducted professionally and in writing.<br>I also encountered repeated assertions that a management agreement could not be terminated at the end of a tenancy, despite the landlord–agent contract being separate from the tenancy agreement. Requests for written clarification, timelines, and handover processes were met with vague or contradictory responses rather than clear, professional guidance.<br>Fees were applied to mandatory statutory repairs by reclassifying them as “refurbishment” purely based on cost thresholds, without itemisation or meaningful explanation.<br><br>When these points were challenged—politely and with reference to the relevant legislation—the response remained dismissive and inflexible, rather than transparent or customer?focused.<br>Overall, the experience felt adversarial rather than collaborative, with more emphasis on enforcing fees and retaining control than on effective property management or fair treatment of landlords and tenants.<br><br>Based on my experience, I would not recommend Chancellors to landlords seeking clear communication, timely repairs, or a professional and balanced managing agent relationship.<br><br>A quick update for the team here I’ve reached out to Chancellors directors organisation as per note below over a dozen times now no one from our organisation has contacted me. I’ve offered email addresses and phone numbers so their address is complete lip service. Should any perspective landlords have any concerns about this organisation please do reach out to me. As I will happily share with you a copy of all my correspondence is with Chancellors begging for them to interact with me to help resolve the challenges their customer service is completely atrocious. I would strongly recommend looking at other organisations.

Buying a flat for my daughter and I was a huge step, especially during a really difficult time in our lives, and they made the whole experience so much easier. From the very beginning, they were incredibly kind, genuine, and supportive. They took the time to explain everything, answered every question I had, and always made me feel at ease. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and I never felt pressured or rushed. They genuinely cared about finding the right home for us, not just making a sale. What really sets them apart is how personal they are. They treat you like a person, not just another client, and even after everything was completed, they’ve stayed in touch, which says so much about the kind of people they are. If you’re looking for an estate agency that truly cares, I couldn’t recommend Teresa and Nick more. They’re honest, compassionate, and go above and beyond for their clients. I’m so grateful for everything they did for us, and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again in the future. Thank you both for helping us find our home – it means more than you’ll ever know.

The data led presentation and the ability to see the scale of the prospective buyers was very refreshing. Ryan has been excellent with communication and listening to my requirements and has delivered them brilliantly. Best agent I have worked with.

Whilst we sold with another agent, we bought with Brockenhurst and they’ve helped us massively with our searches, finding our perfect house, and have kept us up to date throughout the process. I feel very confident with the process going forward, and we can’t wait to get into our dream home! Dan has been amazing throughout, and has helped to guide us through this complex and sometimes stressful situation, especially with a baby on the way as well! Thank you for your help ??

31st Jul 2026 (12 days ago)We had a frustrating experience with RP. All the people that worked there were lovely, knowledgeable and approachable. However, the communication is what made the experience challenging. We would go weeks and weeks without hearing anything, and after precious viewings we just wouldn’t hear back. We’d have to keep calling just to get feedback. Ultimately we have chosen to move to a different estate agent; RP just couldn’t give the time and attention needed to sell our flat.
29th Jul 2026 (14 days ago)Not the best of places to look for a house if you’re looking to rent.<br><br>We have been renting since September of last year with Connells and at first they were great. As you would expect from an estate agency they’re all happy and friendly with you to get you on the door and into something that makes them money.<br><br>September is when we moved in after signing documents and everything we needed to. However, one document doesn’t seem to be accessible, which I thought may be an issue with either my phone or the website so I left it. The inventory. Until recently we have not been able to download or access the inventory sent to us that has been done by an “unbiased third party”. After looking back through the photos and notice a fair amount of damage that has not been recorded. Seems a little unfair and biased. These damages are not exactly cheap repairs. Floor tiles damaged, walls discoloured where the light catches it, boiler switches burnt from the boiler heat and so on.<br><br>I made a complaint to them regarding this as well as the complaints team and repairs team on the phone.<br><br>I’m the best way of explaining how they deal with the situation. It’s not their issue. They keep using any excuse to wiggle their way around not having to take responsibility for any of the previous damages bear in mind on our arrival we took photos.<br><br>We reported the damages to that the next tenants do not have the same issue as us. However, they are smartly wording emails to make out that we are responsible for damages, yes prior damages, and will most likely be billed at the end of our tenancy.<br><br>Suspicions of mine believe this is a way for them to keep your deposits. Especially when one of the tenants become vulnerable to disability and you have to follow the law and leave the property.<br><br>I have made my case clear with them and will fight it through the deposit protection scheme and if need be appoint legal services.<br><br>Please be careful when you go in they seem friendly but they will have you bent backwards into a corner to steal your money.
