11th May 2025 (9 weeks ago)We decided to move from Kent to Aberystwyth for the beautiful landscape, people and better quality of life. By chance we came across a property being marketed by Aled Ellis and in turn spoke to Michelle, who was so very helpful, informative and despite our many questions etc, nothing was too much trouble! Living in Kent, Michelle kindly carried out a viewing with a family member living in Wales, then liaised with us so we could come and view for ourselves. Because of the distance, we could only manage 1 visit in Sept 24 to view the property and we loved it and put in our offer! The sheer distance made the house buying difficult, but we needn't have worried as Michelle was there to help every step of the way and patiently answered all our questions, kept us updated on our small chain and also helped us by suggesting local companies for the Valuation Report and specialist drains survey highlighted from the Report. From start (Sept 24) to exchange (Jan 25) Michelle was on hand and we finally moved in Feb 25. We absolutely love the area and are so very happy to have finally moved to Aberystwyth and wished we had done it years ago. We very quickly settled in and we have been warmly welcomed by our neighbours. We would highly recommend Aled Ellis to anyone thinking of moving from any distance; long or short, as you'll be in good hands with Aled Ellis as Michelle went the extra mile and made what could have been a fraught experience, a painless one and when we think back, everything just went so smoothly... We've made our last move into our forever home :) Thank you Michelle and Aled Ellis :) You're absolute stars!

I have bought and sold through there offices and cannot recommend them enough. 5 star plus.

7th Nov 2023 (1 year ago)Their aim is to reduce their student rentals,buy not returning deposits,and then filling the accomodation with the illegals. The local people will thank them for this.
15th Dec 2024 (6 mo. ago)Steff and the whole team were excellent and would highly recommend. With a complicated sale and a desired quick turnaround, the whole team went above and beyond to make the tight time line possible. Highly recommended using John Francis estate agents. Right from the start there was a fair valuation, honesty, advice given and of course, excellent photos. Unfortunately other agents will happily over value with a view to “ bringing it down “ down waste your time with these, head straight to Steff and the team.
29th May 2025 (6 weeks ago)I visited every agency in Aberystywth in the search for an adequate place to rent and only Alexanders was helpful. They were a great relief to me, very personable and helpful.
30th Sep 2017 (7 years ago)They gave the keys to the then prospective buyer to go to the property unaccompanied. When something was found to be missing from the house it took a letter from my solicitor for them to acknowledge responsibility and pay to replace the missing item. No apology. Extremely poor level of service and rude. Not to mention irresponsible and unprofessional. Basic care and concern fro the security of my property as their client non existant.
26th May 2022 (3 years ago)The unique service offered by Griffin has enabled me to complete a DIY sale of my home on the Internet using national property sale platforms as if I was the website. I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. The Griffin team have the power to listen and assist you, I wish to thank the person at Griffin who originated this professional service and his team for doing a great job. If I ever need to sell a home in future I will immediately use the Griffin service and have been recommending them to family and friends. Thank you.

I am in no doubt that without the diligent and comprehensive approach the seller would not have been able to have linked a sale to me, which was patiently awaited whilst I was in a position to proceed. I would highly recommend Imogen Salmon and Nigel Salmon. If you are in a position to consider engaging Nigel Salmon and his team of Fine and Country to market your property then please don`t hesitate and be assured that from a buyers perspective they are a highly skilled, experienced and hard working team with a clear focus on the seller as well as the prospective buyer. If I were to single out one significant attribute it would be ....."communication was amazing and does not come any better than this". They really do far much more for you.
