   (While the company did finally provide compensation, it's important to note that I still experienced a significant opportunity cost as a result of their actions.) It has undeniably been the most regrettable experience of my lifetime, dealing with a solicitor team that exhibited a severe lack of professionalism and courtesy. Initially, I placed my trust in them based on their positive Google reviews, which now appear to be misleading and have led to significant frustration and inconvenience on my part. The solicitor in question was Shari, who astonishingly took a full year to complete the anti-money laundering check, despite my having submitted all required documents promptly. To compound matters, she repeatedly requested the same information, leading to redundant submissions. Regrettably, she ceased all communication, failing to respond to both my emails and those from the seller's side. My attempts to reach her went unanswered for two months until she seemingly disappeared without a trace. I was dismayed to find myself in such a predicament. In desperation, I enlisted the assistance of the estate agent, who contacted Joni, the National Head of Conveyancing. However, this interaction proved to be equally disheartening, as Joni not only displayed a lack of professionalism but also declined to provide any insight into the unilateral breach of contract, responding in a profane manner. I strongly advise against engaging with this company. As a result of their inefficiency, my funds remained in limbo within my bank account, as I had initially believed they could promptly resolve their business matters. Consequently, I have incurred substantial financial losses due to the failure of Simpson & Marwick to deliver on their commitments.... Read more

Wherever I had a concern or needed someone to be realistic about how active the local market was and how I could target the best audience possible for the sale of my property, Kelly was there providing factual and easy to follow information.    ?? 1 Star – Extremely poor property management<br><br>I would strongly advise landlords to think twice before using Belvoir in Aberdeen. Our experience has been extremely disappointing and has left us seriously questioning the standard of their property management service.<br><br>Belvoir failed to keep important compliance certificates for our properties up to date, leaving us in a position where the properties were not compliant. This is an extremely serious failure for a letting agent who is being paid to manage properties and deal with these fundamental requirements.<br><br>We also found that property inspections and inspection reports were not being carried out, despite the properties being under their management. We should not have had to chase an agent to make sure basic management and compliance responsibilities were being dealt with.<br><br>Communication has been particularly poor. Emails have been ignored or left unanswered, and we have repeatedly had to chase Belvoir for responses and information. When you are paying an agent to manage your properties, this is simply not acceptable.<br><br>The whole purpose of using a professional letting agent is to have confidence that your properties are being properly managed, compliance is being monitored and issues are dealt with promptly. Unfortunately, that has not been our experience with Belvoir Aberdeen.<br><br>Based on our experience, I would not recommend Belvoir Aberdeen to landlords. If you are considering using them, I would strongly suggest you ask exactly how they monitor compliance, conduct inspections and communicate with landlords before signing up.... Read more
