Very disappointed with the service I received from Connells during my recent tenancy process. I have dealt with other staff members at Connells before and never had issues, but my experience with Ashley Thompson-Boyle was extremely frustrating due to poor communication and misinformation throughout the process. Communication throughout the entire process was very poor. I constantly had to chase for updates myself. I was also told that on the key collection day all I needed to do was sign paperwork, pay, and collect the keys. However, when I arrived on the moving day with van rentals and arrangements already booked, I was suddenly informed that the contract was not ready because the deposit process had not been completed through the zero deposit company, something that had never been clearly communicated beforehand. This delayed my move-in by a full day and caused unnecessary stress and additional costs. What disappointed me most was the lack of accountability when these issues were raised. This is genuinely the first time I’ve ever written a complaint or negative review about an employee or agency, but the overall experience was stressful and far below the standard I expected from a well-known letting agency like Connells....
