7th May 2024 (11 days ago)Rang them once. Spoke to someone, they didn’t answer after that. Subsequently sent web enquiries through Rightmove and separately, two emails. They responded to nothing. No texts, emails, calls…nothing. Finally, sent them an email telling them what I thought of them. Used to feel sorry for them. No longer . With Savills and Knight Frank over taking them they’re on their way out. They made their choice. They can live with the consequences. Goodbye Butler Sherborne. You had a choice about how you treated me. I will enjoy witnessing your decline.

30th Nov 2022 (1 year ago)Complete chancers, will try to fleece every penny from your deposit. Worst letting agents I’ve ever had to deal with. My warning for new tenants: PHOTOGRAPH EVERYTHING, and don’t let these lying scammers try to screw you over. We were only there for 10 months (seasonal work), and did the following upon leaving - hired a rug doctor to clean the carpets (despite the rugs being spotless as we never wore shoes inside) - had a professor painter (a neighbour) come around to examine each wall, and fix anything he thought we might be deducted (4 minor scuffs, on 3 walls, none of which we even knew had been us) I’ve never left a place in such great condition in my entire life, and had previously never had a penny deducted from my deposit. For this place, we never had people over - never had the time, our jobs were that busy. I thought we were both being very generous with this level of cleaning since tiny scuffs on walls and wearing shoes inside is 100% “general wear and tear”. Here’s just some of the things that these charlatans tried to take from our deposit. - professional carpet cleaning throughout… these jokers actually said to me that “there were dents in the carpet From your furniture which is removed by professional carpet cleaning”. A lie that they only backed down on when I showed them a picture of the dents made by the previous tenants furniture. - wall painting. They charged us to repaint a wall. Nothing was wrong with those walls, and as I said, we had gotten a professional around just before we moved out. They said to “you have to pay because the work has already been done” and in my naivety, I believed them. That’s just a few of the things they tried to charge us for. This shower of crooks tried to take most of our deposit for pathetic excuses like the ones above.

Together with his business partner Chris Mobbs they created plenty of viewings culminating in a good sale price. The marketing strategy was above and beyond others and the communication always timely and helpful. Overall we feel that F&C offer a very professional and personal service.

8th Jan 2024 (19 weeks ago)Positive: Professional and quick to respond to any communication. Nice photography and pleasant, personal service. Negative: They valued our property at an ambitious price which sadly didn't receive any offers, even after reducing the price. Unfortunately a window was left open at the property following a viewing on more than one occasion.

I wanted to schedule a viewing for the week but only one person was able to show the house who wasn't available at the time we requested. I've made 3 attempts to now contact this individual and they have still not replied or returned my phonecall. Disgusting service. Renting property shouldn't be this hard.
21st Aug 2022 (1 year ago)Only sales method was drop the price 3 times £25K each time eventually found some one to buy but could not close the deal. I offered them the oportunity to work with another agent but personal issues got in the way. Finaly rid of them and hopefully moving forward with our new agent
