At the end, we found ourselves in a deposit dispute with the landlord - the agent (Hollie Parkes) was really objective and unbiased in this whole situation, giving us support all the way through and providing some evidence to support our case. I really appreciate her approach and I never felt like we were left to ourselves.

12th May 2026 (3 days ago)The team at Shipways in Shirley were incredibly helpful in supporting us as first time buyers. We bumped into a few issues with the sellers solicitors being obstructive when there was a leak at the property, but the team at shipways were always there to help communicate concerns, speeding up the process for all of us and playing a large part in resolving the issue. Hannah, Dan and Callum attended our viewings with us, answering all of our many questions in a friendly and professional manner. Sam, the senior branch manager was also incredibly helpful throughout the purchase, with very quick responses, putting our minds at ease when we felt a bit lost due to obstructive solicitors. Couldn’t recommend the team enough, especially as first time buyers!

To add, the lettings girls (Holly, Freya, and Megan) are also really kind and easy to speak with. They were really helpful and kind throughout the process and we are very grateful.

Bottled water on arrival, his presentation, knowledge of the property & general interaction. We decided the property wasnt quite what we were looking for but felt he needed the recognition - great guy & definitely recommend this estate agent.

He was proactive and very well prepared. I would highly recommend him.! I would absolutely recommend Moveli, over using one of the big impersonal high street chains

24th Apr 2026 (21 days ago)I actually can’t say thank you enough to Eleanor for helping us get our dream flat. We did two viewings with her and even when ones were cancelled due to things beyond her control she was so respectful and helpful to us. She really got to know us and our situation and we luckily were chosen for a flat we absolutely adored. I recommend Eleanor 1000% she is amazing and Genuinely the whole process was smooth. She didn’t mind my repeated calls over my application and answered everything with such a lovely and enthusiastic attitude. Thank you Eleanor you’re amazing!!
6th May 2026 (9 days ago)I was incredibly disappointed by Your Move Hinckley. It was quite clear that they considered the landlord a higher priority than tenants. Throughout my tenancy, I found the quality and timeliness of communication to be poor. There are plenty of examples that I could draw on. For example, when a brown fluid was leaking out in our bathroom, Your Move determined that fixing it was not a priority. At this time, we were told that a lack of heating in winter would be a priority. However, when our boiler failed that December, we were advised that we were still not a priority. The end of our tenancy was a shambles. They failed to confirm receipt of our keys and were sluggish to return our deposit. It felt like we were being passed between teams, none of whom were keen to help. I do not recommend this outfit at all.

Communication was clear and regular, and I always felt kept in the loop. Whenever I had questions or concerns, they were quick to respond and genuinely helpful. What stood out most was their persistence and commitment—they didn’t just list the property and disappear. They actively worked to move things forward and made sure the sale eventually went through smoothly. I’d definitely recommend Bairstow Eves to anyone looking to sell their property, especially if you want an agent who will stick with you and provide solid support from start to finish. A massive thank you to both Claire & Gemma for all their hard work!
2nd Apr 2026 (6 weeks ago)If you've always dreamed of being an estate agent yourself, then go with connells. They'll gladly make you do all the work and charge you for the privilege. In between trying to swindle us to use their zero deposit scheme, conveniently owned by the same parent company, and seemingly always being "out on viewings" I wonder how they find the time to reply to our emails after the the 4th time of asking. Landlords for the love of god just use openrent instead and save yourself £££.- 13th May 2026 (2 days ago)Truly terrible experience with Connells We were handed over a property in an appealing condition (all room were dirty, shit marks on the toilets, ear buds on the floor, etc) and they did nothing to fix it, just said it was left to the landlord to arrange cleaning There were issues during the tenancy and they did nothing fix them either And at the end of the tenancy they charged us for all sorts of unjustified things, including cleaning! And 2 months after we moved out still they haven't released the rest of the deposit even though we finally accepted their ridiculous charges just to resolve the situation AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF POSSIBLE
