9th Apr 2026 (26 days ago)We were unfortunately subject to the sudden closure of Butterworths solicitors, so we decided to find where Dave Mitchell was working now (he dealt with our first home when he used to work for Butterworths several years ago). We outlined the circumstances to him given the stress of both our purchase and sale being with a firm that had gone out of business overnight. He took our cases on immediately, he was reassuring and in no time he had pieced together both sale and purchase. As per our previous experience, he responds to emails immediately, he is clearly very experienced and doesn't mess around. As a result of his hard work and diligence he ensured we sold our home and got the keys for our new home in a timely manner. I couldn't recommend him enough. I notice some of the reviews say this firm is a little bit more expensive than others, but he was worth every penny. I'd never used Arnison Heelis before, but I certainly would again knowing they employ such high quality solicitors. Thanks again.

5th Feb 2026 (13 weeks ago)Pattinsons grossly over priced my property, possibly by nearly 50%. I received apologies for this but I think it caused problems in the sale of the house. They recommended selling it via auction which I'm not convinced was the best way of selling it. The property is no longer on the market. I will look to try and sell it in the spring with another agent.

15th Apr 2026 (20 days ago)Failed to turn up to a pre arranged viewing to which I had travelled 190 miles to attend, they blamed this on their systems not the users, To make matters worse they valued the house at initially £1.15m and then reduced in to £850k. Even without an internal viewing I could tell the house house had such roof and structural issues that it probably needed knocking down. Which as a building plot resuklted in a vaue of £400k. Avoid this agency.

7th Nov 2025 (26 weeks ago)Absolutely appalling customer service. If I were renting or selling a property, I would not be using this company. Richard and his assistant were unhelpful and dismissive, refusing to show me and my team a property we were genuinely interested in renting or buying. Their reason was that we hadn’t yet obtained a change of use — which makes no sense, as any reasonable business would only consider that after viewing and deciding whether the property is suitable. The attitude and lack of professionalism were extremely disappointing. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Carigiet Cowen to anyone looking for a helpful or proactive commercial agent.
