Their eye for detail when taking the advertising photographs and the research they put into the writing of the property description were second to none. Leah and the rest of the staff in the office were always on the end of the phone when needed and nothing was too much trouble for them. From my initial contact, they have relentlessly kept great communication in what is a difficult market, to find our "forever house". Tom and Edward's experience is second to none. If we are ever in the market for another house (hopefully not, as my wife has promised), I would have no hesitation in calling Savills......10/10

4th Mar 2024 (21 weeks ago)Absolute rubbish service. Phone and called to enquire about renting a property they put onto Rightmove this morning. The company told me to wait and they would ring me back. I missed the call due to work. 5 minutes after I called them back they denied having the property and I told them I saw it on rightmove. When I said not to worry, that I would call someone else she just said “thank you” in a very rude way. I don’t recommend dealing with this company at all. Very fake and rude.
7th Jul 2024 (20 days ago)I was the executor of a relative's estate and had to arrange the sale of the house. I am not familiar with Carlisle and was particularly impressed with Tiffen's local knowledge. I was also pleased with how well Tiffens negotiated a deal for me and kept me informed.
28th Feb 2024 (21 weeks ago)Communication with Hunters was almost impossible, we could never get through to them on the telephone. Calls were never returned when messages were left and when we did get through to them, they were surely in their attitude. No suggestions were made as to what actions could be taken to get the property sold. In the end we got rid of them.

If you rent from Northwood take your time and go through everything that seems not right (although you might risk to "lose" the property you're interested in, if you complain too much) Keep everything email documented.

18th Mar 2024 (19 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Any queries and problems were dealt with promptly and sympathetically. We would highly recommend H&H Land Estates Carlisle.

12th May 2024 (11 weeks ago)We knew when we first met Adam Gaulton that he was the right agent for us and since then, he has more than surpassed our expectations! Adam is a genuinely nice guy and this, in combination with his impressive knowledge and expertise, got our house sold (for the full asking price) in less than 3 weeks! Since then, Adam has continued to offer us advice and support and has been an absolute pleasure to work with. We honestly couldn’t be happier and would highly recommend him to anyone!
5th Jul 2024 (22 days ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!
17th May 2024 (10 weeks ago)Kate was amazing from start to finish advising how to present the property for pictures helping me understand paperwork processes etc. She made sure I was ok in myself also helping with my purchase. She ensured messages were relayed between myself and my buyer and kept in touch with the solicitors I feel she earned every penny selling my house.
11th Dec 2023 (7 mo. ago)Mark helped me find a buyer for my later mother's house, and I was very happy with his work from start to finish. I live in the US, so much of the communication had to happen via WhatsApp, but that went fine - Mark was always quick to respond and clear about all the details.
