Thank you so much Kayode - you went above and beyond to make sure it was the right property for me, as well as chasing the sellers when needed. Would recommend working with Kayode from seeing properties to getting to exchange/completion.

Very quick with email replies but also keeping me updated on the process of the sale. My contact Helen was always friendly and professional, as was all the team. Service was a 10/10 and I would definitely go to them again.

They went above and beyond to make sure everything was completed, even helping with things outside of their remit. They were also exceptional at dealing with the inevitable bumps in the road throughout the process, handling everything professionally and efficiently. Everyone was friendly, approachable, and very easy to work with. Their support and professionalism made the whole experience much smoother.

7th May 2026 (9 days ago)The situation was an urgent one. I needed a place as swift as possible to move in and NGU took the task on by introducing me to a property and arraigning a viewing. Their actions eventually resulted in the tenancy agreement and a contract being signed. Everyone on the team was awesome however, one person was outstanding, Shakil. Shakil was there for me through and through. From the first day of the enquiry till I moved in to the property and even after. I would recommend NGU to friends and family whenever the need arises.

Very smooth transition, excellent communication between conveyancers (who Mansons recommended), tenants and myself. Just over three months from agreement to market prperty to completion of sale. Faultless and to be highly recommended.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

From the beginning the team were so enthusiastic, friendly, professional and reassuring - from Charlotte who arrived with the very latest local information and heaps of encouragement to do our valuation, to Natasha and Kate in the Hexham office, and Leah and Louise who kept us in the loop and chased up solicitors on our behalf. Their photographer also did an amazing job. I thoroughly recommend them all!
