7th Dec 2025 (21 weeks ago)Despite any other comments, I had an amazing experience with MSL, I guess it depends on which house or property you’re going for. I stayed at Coulston Road, and it was amazing, I stayed there during my 2nd year and it remained as the best house I ever stayed at during uni. The MSL team was responsive, the property was in perfect condition, no mould, no damp, and if any issues arose they would be there within a couple of days to fix it. I imagine that this is not the case with every property, if you’re going for a very cheap alternative I imagine there will be a few more issues, but if you’re staying or planning on staying at 46 Coulston Road, or any properties in that price range, rest assured, they’re top quality properties. *EDIT* I forgot to mention, I kept my room in perfect condition, no damage, no mess, everything nice and neat and tidy. There was however some normal wear and tear in the room as can be expected through occupying a space for a year, for instance the paint in the shower started chipping away and a couple of other things. However, even with the wear and tear, I received my full deposit back. Not a single penny was taken away from my deposit. Those comments saying they took away their deposits for no reason, I would beg to differ, I image their threshold for “no reason” is very low, since I had no issues whatsoever with the deposits. Just keep your room in good condition and you won’t have any issues.
24th Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)Unprofessional agents stating incorrect legal clauses. Poor communication. I will not be buying an estate or selling with them in the future. I will be contacting sellers directly making offers that exclude this agent.

I have been so stressed out due to finding my dream home and sudden health problems. And due to me being in hospital she did a facetime for me and I immediately fell in love with the property. If it wasn't for Shannon I do not know what I would have done, or where I would be. Goodness knows what stress Shannon has been under on my behalf. So proud of you. If entwistle green gives out awards I would strongly recommend Shannon be put forward.

From the initial viewing right through to completion, the team were professional, responsive, and easy to deal with. They kept me well informed at every stage of the process and were always available to answer any questions or chase updates when needed. What stood out most was how smoothly everything was handled – buying a house can be stressful, but they made the whole process feel straightforward and well-managed. Their communication was clear and timely, and they were proactive in ensuring things progressed without unnecessary delays. Overall, I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy a property. 18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

She was professional in her approach and honest about the difficulty of putting a value on a property with little precedence. She was always available to discuss any concerns and guided us through to accepting an offer which will hopefully lead to a sale.
