I also purchased our dream house through Aylsham branch. My buyers chain has been quite complex. Miranda has gone above and beyond. Been there in a very stressful times. Any questions we had about the property were answered within 24 hours, and it really feels like they went the extra mile. In particular I'd like to thank Isabella for her help throughout this purchase - I hope her manager is reading this; she deserves some recognition!

20th Apr 2026 (22 weeks ago)I enquired about a rental property and I was told that I wasn’t going to be a suitable tenant based on my age and because I have children. I note that both of these factors are directly or indirectly to protected characteristics and this represents discrimination in breach of Pointens’ obligations under the Equality Act 2010. Further I note that this conduct in relation of tenant screening is due to become directly unlawful under the new laws coming into force on 1st May 2026, so for tenancies starting on or after 1st May which the one I enquired about likely would, this is questionably unlawful now.

20th Aug 2026 (29 days ago)We couldn’t recommend Stobart & Hurrell highly enough after they handled the sale of our home.<br><br>Having lived there for over 11 years, selling the house and moving on was a huge step for us as a family, and from the very beginning the team were fantastic. They were professional, friendly, knowledgeable and, most importantly, always there when we needed them.<br><br>The whole process was handled brilliantly. Communication was excellent throughout, we were kept informed at every stage, and whenever the inevitable stresses of moving house cropped up, we always felt we had someone on our side helping to keep things moving.<br><br>What really stood out was the personal service. From our first contact & meeting with Fin, who is a credit to the team, never have I met such an enthusiastic and personable representative of an estate agency.<br><br>I also want to thank Oli & Zak, always there, whenever needed.<br><br>We never felt like just another house on the market, they genuinely cared about the sale and about getting us to the finish line.<br><br>After 11 very happy years in our home, it was quite emotional handing over the keys and closing that chapter, but we couldn’t have asked for a better team to help us do it.<br><br>A huge thank you to everyone at Stobart & Hurrell. And certainly on one occasion we thought that’s it’s not going to happen but joannaof sowerbys after sale section kept things holding on with some extraordinary lateral thinking during a chase for missing contract.

All aspects of the process of buying and selling were dealt with knowledgeably, helpfully and with great care and attention. Matters were dealt with promptly and questions answered fully no matter how many times they were asked. We were indeed fortunate to have such an excellent team working for us. They come highly recommended!
