We bought a couple of short walk maps of this area and very glad we did..it is such a lovely area to walk in. We did 2 different walks in the same sort of area , a 3 hour and a 2 hour walk up through the woods and around the golf course and across the fields, great to get out of the car and see a different view.

Have been buying property in cromer and surrounding area for many years and have used them during a purchase once previously - at that time we found them most unhelpful - even awkward at times which we thought was totally wrong and unprofessional way to run a business.
We have recently been looking for another property in cromer and came across one which they were advertising - this appeared on rightmove and their own website.
I made an appointment for a viewing for this week knowing I would be travelling over 100 miles from my home to Norfolk, the advert then disappeared from all websites and so I rang wh brown who confirmed my appointment would still go ahead and that they were having problem with advertising some of their properties on the internet / I found this very unusual but confirmed I did not want to drive all that way and not see the property. The chap on the phone assured me this would not happen / I made the journey the night before but at 9.00am in the morning I got a call from my husband saying wh brown had called to cancel the appointment as the property had been sold the day before! He said he had not been in the office so I don’t understand why someone else could not have taken the time to let me know. We will never look at any other properties with this company again even if they were to be selling our dream home !

I had my property up for sale with William H Brown, Cromer. After a year of it not selling, I decided to try another agent. I called up to give notice and the Manager Pete tried to talk me out of it. I said it's nothing you've done wrong as an agent but I need to try something else. He was extremely arrogant and unhelpful. I gave notice in May and despite calls emails, he refused to take it off the market. Everytime I called, he was 'in a meeting, and he wouldn't respond to emails. I managed to deal with a young girl there who was helpful and tried her best to resolve it. Finally after two months, my property was removed from their listings. I am extremely annoyed to have since received a letter from their legal team saying I'll be liable for costs if I sell my property to a company who they've negotiated with. They clearly haven't and I chose to use another agent. William H Brown are very unprofessional and the Manager needs customer service training. Clearly the number of people using them is dropping and they want to retain customers, but being rude and awkward is not the way to do it.

Abbotts got me more viewings in 6 weeks than my previous agent found me in 6 months. They provided excellent marketing material for the property and quickly found me a buyer. And then Covid happened... despite this the team came back on board as soon as they were allowed and Steve and Natasha worked wonders to help me through the sale. They went above and beyond to help push this through and really pushed my solicitors who were essentially non-existent after they kept their staff on furlough with no direct contact. Thank you for all your help. The sale would have fallen through without you.
