Rented a property through the estate agent, which happened to belong to the estate agent owner Stephen Froy.
We were promised that the property would be in a good condition when we moved in, however we arrived with it being filthy. Dust was everywhere, leak around the toilet and the stench of damp everywhere. The oven was also thick with grease and grime that must have been built up over years.
When we addressed the problems to elder and Froy estate agents it took a vast amount of time for us to receive a response from the landlord (Stephen Froy); legal action had to be mentioned until he would respond. Eventually he came to visit the property, to view the problems. His response when my fiancé mentioned the uncleanliness of the house was "I am a man, I don't notice these things".
Luckily enough we manage to escape the contract early, however had to throw away items due to mould growing on items we had stored in the kitchen cupboards, this included a George foreman Grill and table matts.
Left a message yesterday (26/09/2017) regarding booking an appointment to view a lettings property and also emailed them yesterday to cover all avenues. 24 hours later and still haven't heard a thing, not exactly a great advert for the Beaminster Branch really. I shall look else where for a property to let and ignore any which you are advertising since you guys ignore messages.

Disappointing service from an estate agents that prides itself on its "exceptional level of service". Waited 5 days to arrange a viewing (NOT available 24/7 as they claim!), rang up twice and was promised a call back but never received one. When I rang the third time, I was told that I had been misinformed about the property and had to give my details (budget, rooms etc.) for the third time. When I become frustrated, the lady appeared to laugh? Very disappointed.
