We've had to move a number of times over the years and without doubt the service provided by Mark and his colleagues was streets ahead of the other agents we've used. The key to their operation is not just the fee basis but the high level of communication - they kept us in the loop constantly throughout our sale and did everything possible to get to completion. No glossy brochures, no high pressure selling, just good old fashioned personal service!
I have had an experience of Fox and Sons in Crewkerne. I am looking for a home which is a really big deal and an important decision for me. I have found the agent, Ms Gigg, to be very professional, courteous and honest. She has really understood what I am looking for and found properties that are a good match with my needs to go and view. The agent has not been pushy at all and I have got a sense that the priority there is not to sell at all costs but to help both the seller and the buyer achieve an outcome that works well for both sides. Although I haven’t quite decided on which property to buy yet I would highly recommend this team.
Saw the mortgage advisor in the Crewkerne office Samantha Hooper and she was very quick and efficient and I have recommended to her my friends/family. She was lovely to deal with and so easy to talk too. Explained mortgage options in an easy and understandable way. Thank you Sam!!! ????????????
We were very impressed with Mayfair. Their efficiency and level of communication was refreshingly good; we were particularly impressed with and grateful to Jo, who was very helpful throughout the whole process.
Rented a property through the estate agent, which happened to belong to the estate agent owner Stephen Froy.
We were promised that the property would be in a good condition when we moved in, however we arrived with it being filthy. Dust was everywhere, leak around the toilet and the stench of damp everywhere. The oven was also thick with grease and grime that must have been built up over years.
When we addressed the problems to elder and Froy estate agents it took a vast amount of time for us to receive a response from the landlord (Stephen Froy); legal action had to be mentioned until he would respond. Eventually he came to visit the property, to view the problems. His response when my fiancé mentioned the uncleanliness of the house was "I am a man, I don't notice these things".
Luckily enough we manage to escape the contract early, however had to throw away items due to mould growing on items we had stored in the kitchen cupboards, this included a George foreman Grill and table matts.
