Absolutely delighted with Connells estate agents Dunstable, on with another agent in the town for 12 weeks had it on with Connells sold in under a week. Thank you Vinnie and the team for your hard work.
Absolutely useless people. Such an unprofessional letting agency. No communication, no response at all. Still owes us money. I will take this case to the court. Not recommended!!!
Very friendly kept me updated with both buying and selling even though I was selling through Another estate agent I got more information from Alexandra,s
I’d strongly recommend not using this service and going for an online estate agent for literally a fraction of the price. Sadly I did not receive good value for money or a positive experience. I had to go through the property ombudsman to claim a partial refund because I was so disappointed. Don’t pay £5,000 for something you can get for £800 by using an online agent. You’ll get the same (if not better service) and 95% of property leads come from rightmove or zoopla anyway...nobody goes into a traditional estate agent any more. I hope prospective first time sellers like myself don’t get drawn into an outdated way of house sales like I did, please learn from my mistake!
Having lost a buyer with a previous agent, we instructed HouseHold to take on our property. Needless to say we weren't disappointed, we had more viewings in 4 weeks than we'd had in the previous 5 months. Michael their sales progressor offers an unique service and despite our frantic and anxious frequent calls, he remained in control and liaised with our buyers solicitor and helped keep things on track. A big thank you to him!
Dont touch this agent !Really unprofessional agent ,if you put your property in this agent and you will never sell your house ! People in there are really unprofessional ! They choose any buyer they want to sell to !
We had a great experience selling our house via Urban and Rural. Darren from the dunstable branch was very professional and kept us up to date throughout the process and even when he wasn't in the office another member of the team was more than happy to help in any way they could or get him to call us back as soon as he was back in.
We had a great experience using Urban & Rural, From our initial valuations they were £5000 higher than the other agents and Dave came across very confident of achieving that. The level of marketing they offered far outweighed anything the other local agents could produce in our opinion so that was the main reason we used them, safe to say we were not disappointed. Viewings came quickly and two offers of just above asking price were achieved which we were delighted with, Samantha was really personable and overall a lovely person to have show people our house. The after sales process was dealt with brilliantly by Darren. All in all it is never a stress free move but Urban & Rural done everything in there power to make sure it was a smooth as possible for us. Hopefully we wont be moving for the next 20 years but should we need to there is only one agent we will go to. Thanks again

A great estate agent with a friendly group of enthusiastic staff members. Pleasure to do business with. Keep up the good work :-)
DO NOT USE!
One of the most appalling people I have dealt with in business. Not only was Ed (who came to value) rude, arrogant and dismissive he could have ruined our life had I listened to him. THIS GUY UNDERVALUES PROPERTIES. He waltzed in in a T-Shirt and flip-flops, wandered around not even listening to me, then undervalued our property by £75,ooo. Yes, you read that correct.....75,000 POUNDS. He was very dismissive of my misgivings and had already decided the value before he even entered the house. Armed with lots of paper to try dazzle me, he simply said Houghton Regis is minging, he wouldn't buy here and our post-code is rubbish!!! He knows, he sells properties in Dunstable in hours.... I believe that part. Why? Cause he prices them to be a steal to get his commission. remember for him it's a few hundred quid here or there. For us it's tens of thousands. I don't know if local agents require training or a licence but if they do his should be reviewed.
Fortunately, I got some second opinions. Every other agent valued our property by the higher sum and I am grateful to these for putting my mind at rest and that Deakin White cost me nothing more than a couple of nights sleep. We are now under offer and due to exchange £75k higher than we otherwise would have had we been taken advantage of.
Please everyone be wary of this firm. I can recommend Esquires/Urban and Rural/Alexander and Co as being reputable in this area. If you have sold thru DK maybe you should take a look into that valuation just in case.
I read on Ed's Bio that he used to be a childrens TV presenter. He probably made a very good clown!
