Absolutely delighted with Connells estate agents Dunstable, on with another agent in the town for 12 weeks had it on with Connells sold in under a week. Thank you Vinnie and the team for your hard work.
one of the worst estate agents to deal with had a horrible experience dealing with them with one property which fell through
dont waste your time dealing with them
Very friendly kept me updated with both buying and selling even though I was selling through Another estate agent I got more information from Alexandra,s
My buyer pulled out the night before we were ready to exchange thanks to a member of staff giving them false information about a solicitor!! The said member of staff did not first check any information with said solicitor, or me as the seller before giving out misinformation. Totally unprofessional and should be held accountable
Very professional, great communication throughout the process and we were extremely impressed by the level of interest they generated.
Dont touch this agent !Really unprofessional agent ,if you put your property in this agent and you will never sell your house ! People in there are really unprofessional ! They choose any buyer they want to sell to !

Just wanted to say a quick thank you to everyone at Deakin White - especially Josh, Sam and Emma. After struggling to get viewings on our house with another agent, we did what we should have done initially and got Deakin White on the case. Within 30 minutes of signing their contract, I had my first viewing booked in (I didn’t even realise they could have got back to the office that quick!). 8 days later, we not only have an offer, but an acceptable offer. Since then, Emma was a pleasure to deal with. In all honesty, I probably had too much correspondence from her. She kept everyone in the chain well informed about all updates to the sale which is SO different to when we first bought the house. It was nice to deal with someone who kept on top of the sale!
Then there’s Josh. We both loved Josh and how easy and comfortable he made us feel on viewings. We felt really bad when we ended up putting an offer in on a house that he hadn’t shown us because he literally invested so much time and effort into helping us find our next home.
If/when we move again, would we get in touch with Deakin White...HELL YEAH! They’re the type of estate agents that I would want to work for personally and more importantly, they know what they’re doing and how to sell property!
Thanks again to all at Deakin White!
DO NOT USE!
One of the most appalling people I have dealt with in business. Not only was Ed (who came to value) rude, arrogant and dismissive he could have ruined our life had I listened to him. THIS GUY UNDERVALUES PROPERTIES. He waltzed in in a T-Shirt and flip-flops, wandered around not even listening to me, then undervalued our property by £75,ooo. Yes, you read that correct.....75,000 POUNDS. He was very dismissive of my misgivings and had already decided the value before he even entered the house. Armed with lots of paper to try dazzle me, he simply said Houghton Regis is minging, he wouldn't buy here and our post-code is rubbish!!! He knows, he sells properties in Dunstable in hours.... I believe that part. Why? Cause he prices them to be a steal to get his commission. remember for him it's a few hundred quid here or there. For us it's tens of thousands. I don't know if local agents require training or a licence but if they do his should be reviewed.
Fortunately, I got some second opinions. Every other agent valued our property by the higher sum and I am grateful to these for putting my mind at rest and that Deakin White cost me nothing more than a couple of nights sleep. We are now under offer and due to exchange £75k higher than we otherwise would have had we been taken advantage of.
Please everyone be wary of this firm. I can recommend Esquires/Urban and Rural/Alexander and Co as being reputable in this area. If you have sold thru DK maybe you should take a look into that valuation just in case.
I read on Ed's Bio that he used to be a childrens TV presenter. He probably made a very good clown!
