Very friendly kept me updated with both buying and selling even though I was selling through Another estate agent I got more information from Alexandra,s
My buyer pulled out the night before we were ready to exchange thanks to a member of staff giving them false information about a solicitor!! The said member of staff did not first check any information with said solicitor, or me as the seller before giving out misinformation. Totally unprofessional and should be held accountable
Just wanted to say a quick thank you to everyone at Deakin White - especially Josh, Sam and Emma. After struggling to get viewings on our house with another agent, we did what we should have done initially and got Deakin White on the case. Within 30 minutes of signing their contract, I had my first viewing booked in (I didn’t even realise they could have got back to the office that quick!). 8 days later, we not only have an offer, but an acceptable offer. Since then, Emma was a pleasure to deal with. In all honesty, I probably had too much correspondence from her. She kept everyone in the chain well informed about all updates to the sale which is SO different to when we first bought the house. It was nice to deal with someone who kept on top of the sale!
Then there’s Josh. We both loved Josh and how easy and comfortable he made us feel on viewings. We felt really bad when we ended up putting an offer in on a house that he hadn’t shown us because he literally invested so much time and effort into helping us find our next home.
If/when we move again, would we get in touch with Deakin White...HELL YEAH! They’re the type of estate agents that I would want to work for personally and more importantly, they know what they’re doing and how to sell property!
Thanks again to all at Deakin White!
Booked in a viewing, no one turned up. I came all the way from London so I went to their office and it was closed! This was at 3pm in the afternoon, not good at all.
Very professional, great communication throughout the process and we were extremely impressed by the level of interest they generated.
Dont touch this agent !Really unprofessional agent ,if you put your property in this agent and you will never sell your house ! People in there are really unprofessional ! They choose any buyer they want to sell to !
The Quadrant Shopping Centre, Dunstable, Bedfordshire
I recently sold my property in Dunstable, it was a grade II listed building with leasehold - so not an easy one to sell but Deakin-White took care of the process from start to finish. Unfortunately my conveyancer was terrible and the process took five long months, but it really made me appreciate how vital having good estate agent is. Deakin-White were always keeping me updated, they were advising me on many occasions when the conveyancer wasn't, they were chasing up papers and information etc that the conveyancer wasn't and they were always available to talk and help solve issues. It was my first time selling a property so i feel very fortunate indeed that i had Deakin-White to help guide me through the process. I highly recommend them.
After great reviews it seemed a no brainer to go with Deakin White. However, our dealings have been a completely different experience. They were unenthusiastic about selling our late Dad's property, continuous negative comments and ignored our requests regarding customer feedback. There was no for sale sign and valued it much lower than purple bricks and Connells. When we decided to pull out they were very rude and snappy on the phone. The only good thing I'd add is they haven't charged any fees and arranged viewings in the first 2 weeks, unfortunately it didn't last long. We feel neglected and disappointed.
