My son, owns his own business , his wife & 5 really well mannered level headed kids applied for a property after viewing to be told the “owner” decided they were not suitable? No credit searches, no full application only how many occupants. Is this discrimination against have a large family and assuming they’re reliant on benefits? He has private rented for some 15 years and never missed a payment. Maybe Clyde should work a bit harder to satisfy owners & renters.

29th May 2026 (25 days ago)I cannot recommend Harvey, Cindy and the team at Nicol Estate agents highly enough. They kept us updated at every point throughout the process from the appraisal, through the home report process, getting the property on the market, viewings, feedback and the closing date process. Once we accepted an offer on the property Cindy kept in touch with our solicitor to ensure the sale completed. The team at Nicols made a very stressful process calm, smooth and as stress free as possible. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to sell my home!

The support through the entire process has been incredible and I can say that I have had a few setbacks in the process (outwith any control) however the team have navigated me through it. Special shout out to Sharon who without that support it would not have went the way it has. Anyone anywhere really should go with these guys! Thank you Gary and Sharon you have both been amazing and I will forever be grateful to you.

His communication was excellent at every stage, always keeping me informed and responding quickly to any questions or concerns. The information he brought when he came to value the property showed that he had done his homework and knew the area.
