22nd Jul 2022 (2 years ago)We were disappointed in the amount of interest they created. They do not seem to be proactive. We changed agents and saw an immediate upturn in interest, our property is now sold STC.

17th Nov 2021 (2 years ago)Kathleen at Fulfords beyond above and beyond for us with our property purchase. When solicitors weren't coming back to us and being difficult she went out of her way to chase them up and constantly kept us in the loop with everything that was going out. By far the best estate agent we have ever dealt with and we definitely wouldn't have got into our property as quickly without all her help. We had an awful experience with another estate agents in the area when trying to buy a previous property so we had pretty much lost all faith in them but she very much as restored all of this now! I would recommend her and the agency to anyone looking to buy or sell a property. Thank you Kathleen for everything you did for us. Penny & Ben

Whitton & Laing appointed Mr. Martyn Burnett, MRICS, to conduct the survey. Martyn was professionalism personified and despite difficult circumstances between his clients (us) managed to navigate the situation impeccably. He has produced a thorough and comprehensive review whilst maintaining balance and consideration for all parties. He is a credit to Whitton & Laing and we are very grateful to have had his services.

In fact, the whole team. They found us two suitable buyers within a week! Their conduct was exemplary in terms of communicating, empathy, reassuring and reality – an estate agency which genuinely understands the emotions and needs of people as well as the practical aspects of selling homes. They are second to none – ‘Knights to be trusted' - professional decent agents who can effectively secure a sale with the least amount of stress. Communicating and engaging throughout the whole conveyance - always there. Keeping us informed. Knight Frank Exeter has a brilliant business ethos balancing, with integrity, the buyers and sellers’ emotions and needs to their own business purpose. To them customers really do come first. 18th Mar 2024 (19 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

However their positive 'leave it to us attitude', while it achieved the positive result did mean that we weren't fully aware of how the sale was being handled and they needed reminding to progress the memorandum of sale.

We have had a long wait for the sale to complete on the property, and nick supported us through all of it, with a smile! I will be using him again and would recommend him to my friends, family... thank you for everything ??

Ben and his team provided us with great support throughout the sales process, and their extra gruntwork at the end really helped to get us over the line. We will definitely use them again.

15th Apr 2024 (15 weeks ago)We could not recommend anyone else to sell our property and to purchase a new property from. After getting quotes and meeting different people from various estate agents we had no doubt in choosing Right at Home. My partner dealt with it mostly due to the nature of my work. However, from his feedback they were welcoming, relaxed, and they did not feel like your “typical sales people” they were not pushy compared to others. Once our property was put up for sale it took under a month to sale bearing in mind Christmas period was included within this time. Right at Home had mortgage advisors and solicitors that they recommended which we used and had no problems. This shows that Right at Home have the passion and rapport with what they do. We viewed a property that Right at Home were selling and Sarah was so friendly, knowledgeable about the property and was able to answer questions without hesitation. We even had a few giggles including me asking her not to use her skills with other viewers viewing the house, due to us falling in love with the property, and needed a mortgage in principle before putting an offer down. (We will never know if she used her selling skills on further viewings on the property as we managed to purchase the house that we wanted haha). Anyway, during the process of selling and buying the properties the ladies were with us every step making sure things were on track and everyone who were involved were all going in the same direction. They contacted solicitors to see where the process was at and kept us updated. Any questions or help that may have been needed were met. Emails and contact were answered within the same day and mostly within the same hour of sending an email. This allowed us to feel relaxed and knowing their fast response meant that they were on the ball with the process which made us confident with each step. The house sell and the one we purchased went very smoothly and Jo met us with our key, a welcome box, and a card. This was just a lovely little touch to our new adventure. The after care has been just as great in respect of making sure post does not get missed and getting it to previous owners. Thank you so much to all who dealt with us in selling and purchasing our perfect property to make new memories in. Incredible customer service, excellent people skills, amazing communication, great experience from start to finish. Definitely recommend to use for selling and purchasing a property. We could not be happier with the services that were provided from Right at Home. Thank you again, Sam and Roxy.
