29th Sep 2024 (10 weeks ago)Hamilton Chase was one of three estate agents we approached to sell a two-bedroom, two-bathroom garden flat in New Barnet. Of the three, Hamilton Chase stood out as being both realistic (to the vagaries of the housing market), yet acutely aware of the outstanding unique selling points of the large, private terrace and very quiet neighbourhood. Kevin Peters looked after us very well. Proactive, courteous and always professional, he responded quickly to our initial contact - and continued to manage the sale process through all stages with expertise and patience gained over many years in the business. We were unable to always be on hand during the sale process, and Kevin was especially helpful in 'minding' the property in our absence to make sure everything remained ship-shape and looking its best. Although 'above and beyond' is a cliche - and, in this case, an understatement - it nonetheless sums up Kevin's commitment to our sale, and we have no hesitation in recommending him and Hamilton Chase to anyone who is searching for a top-quality estate agent. He was super professional in arranging the viewing, providing information about the property and life in the area as well. Nick went above and beyond to ensure that i got the best deal whilst also considering the landlord’s interest as well and creating a win-win scenario for both parties. Throughout the process, he was always available and easy to reach and made me feel truly comfortable. I was under pressure to find a new flat and i also didnt want to negotiate on my must-haves, i believe Nick was instrumental in helping with this and i’m truly grateful. Great thing they will also be managing the property so i am hopeful to seeing same level of service with the property management team as well. Nick has set the bar really high! Thank you CHP!!

18th Mar 2024 (8 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Yasser is professional, very persistent and communicated all information, and gave me the confidence that he would handle the buyers and negotiate on our behalf. Steve Dixon helped with day to day queries and kept me informed at every stage. Steve was always courteous, and communicated well. I have been in the property business from 1988, but Adam Hayes - Yasser & Steve, have been the best estate agents i have dealt with. I would have no hesitation in recommending their services to others.
