15th Jul 2026 (20 days ago)A worker helped us find a place after our first option got taken. He was kind and considerate and accommodating. We’re new home movers so we were very unknowing of this process and he made it easier for us. The agency were very professional and gave us every piece of information we needed. We also met Linus during the move in date who was also very accommodating and sweet. We really recommend this agency to any new movers. They make the whole process extremely easy.<br><br>Update:<br>Unfortunately I had a bad experience with one of the workers at Barnard Marcus. A colleague was getting too close, being touchy and sending flirting texts. He’s also significantly older which is even weirder. I mentioned this to Adem at Barnard Marcus and they said they would following it up. Since February I haven’t heard anything back. The case was passed on to someone and I’ve heard nothing from her. It seems they don’t really care, which is disappointing since we really liked Barnard Marcus and the team we were given. I shouldn’t have to follow up on a case like this, as it was even hard for me to tell anyone, and they should have taken steps to make me feel safe or heard.

Bradley, Billy and Dominika were great to deal with, helping get what was a tricky conveyancing period over the line. I'm sure the team are relieved to see the back of us but we'd certainly recommend them to others who are looking to sell or purchase in the area!

Neil and Belinda and the whole team were always available and approachable by phone, email and in person in the office. I cannot recommend enough!
10th Jun 2026 (8 weeks ago)Our experience with HomeLink has been extremely negative.<br><br>We returned the keys on 14 May 2026 and recorded a video at the time of handover as evidence. Despite this, we were later told that the keys had only been returned on 2 June 2026. We have evidence showing otherwise.<br><br>When we rented the property, we were informed by Zach that there were no damp or mould issues. However, during our tenancy we experienced significant damp, mould and moisture problems throughout the property, particularly during the winter months. My wife and child developed asthma-related health problems, and we have supporting medical evidence.<br><br>We moved out on 30 April 2026 and were preparing to move into another property. During this process, HomeLink provided a negative reference, stating that rent payments had been late. We had already informed them in writing that my salary payment date had changed and requested that the payment date be adjusted accordingly. Despite this, the issue was not resolved.<br><br>HomeLink has withheld our £2,015 deposit and has attempted to charge rent for a period when we were no longer living in the property. We have written communications showing that we informed the agency in advance about leaving the property.<br><br>We feel that we were treated unfairly throughout this process. We have retained emails, messages, video recordings and other evidence and have started legal proceedings regarding these matters.<br><br>Potential tenants should carefully document all communications and thoroughly inspect any property for damp and mould issues before signing a tenancy agreement.

No matter what we’ve contacted him about, he always replies really quickly, and even if he doesn’t have an answer straight away, he’ll let us know he’s looking into it. He connects so well that I found it more easier to describe what type of flat I was looking for myself and son. His communication skills and deep knowledge about his job is for me unquestionable.<br><br>I will always go back to him if a suitable flat is posted on Hamptons Estate website because I know I will meet someone who can help me make the best decision.

27th Jul 2026 (8 days ago)A terrible experience trying to sell my property.<br><br>It started positively, with promises of numerous interested buyers, an optimistic valuation, a quick initial appointment and glossy marketing materials showcasing their local listings.<br><br>Unfortunately, the service deteriorated from there. I received frequent calls described as “market updates”, despite there being no meaningful update to share. At other times, emails went unanswered and calls were not returned.<br><br>Far too many people seemed to be involved—sales managers, team managers and sales agents—but communication between them was poor. I was repeatedly passed between different people, who blamed one another and failed to follow through on agreed actions.<br><br>Based on my experience, I would not recommend this estate agent to anyone looking to sell their property.
