We eventually gave notice in writing to terminate the contract and nobody bothered to contact us to ask why we were leaving? 15th Mar 2026 (7 mo. ago)I used Emma Terry to sell my fathers house. I fairness to Emma she did a good job and got a good price for it in my opinion. I then went back to her with a view to sell my house which is much larger in Lowdham. I initially had a valuation on my property at the same time she valued my fathers. As she had done a good job on my first sale then I thought I would use her again. Unfortunately when I contacted her by e mail to ask her about the sale of my property and valuation and fees. I was contacted by email stating it was the same valuation as previously given a few months before and no negotiation on fees despite being a more expensive property than the first one she had sold. I t would have been more of a personal touch if she could have found time to have a personal call. The property was hugely undervalued and sold for £100K more than her valuation.
22nd Mar 2026 (7 mo. ago)Associate director consciously chose to breach trust rendering my relationship with the company as both a seller and buyer, completely untenable. My interests were entirely secondary as demonstrated by their actions. I received assurances they weren’t prepared to uphold, was made promises they weren’t prepared to keep and set expectations they weren’t prepared to follow through. Avoid this estate agent and use one of the many others available.
