It's been just over 2 months since we sold our house with Robert Ellis in Arnold. We haven't received final correspondence from them/'how did we do' or 'thanks for your business' so I'll leave my review on here. We were initially impressed with them and while we had a figure in mind, the valuer was insistent she could get 15k over that. Guided by them, this is what it was listed as. As we were not living at the property, they did all the viewings. There were apparently numerous viewings, all of whom 'loved the property' but very few offers. Even though we received feedback from the friendly girls in the office, a chance remark sometime later said that someone had been willing to pay 15k under the asking price but they had thought we would turn them down. Disappointing that this was never mentioned at the time. I was annoyed that people keeping an eye on the property for us had to report several things to us. Blinds left open, lights left on... especially as the property was empty, and I was extremely annoyed when we returned to find both our toilets had been used and unflushed. That is not a smell you want to return to in the middle of summer! When we did accept an offer 7 months later we had planned to return when contracts were exchanged to clear out our remaining possessions and tidy the garden as it had been left for some months. We were hesitant when the buyers wanted to 'show their family' the house but were assured they knew the situation. We were surprised some days later with comments, and questions about all of our 'mess' backed up with photos! I mean we hadn't even moved out, was still some time off finalising so what was the problem? When we returned a few days later, our toilet had once again been used and unflushed. Kitchen chairs and stools all around the kitchen like they'd had a party, and our lounge furniture completely rearranged! The heavy settee, which we would lift to move, just scraped along the floor like they didn't care. I was quite upset with them at the end and glad when it was all over.

Robert Ellis recently helped us with the sale of our home. Within hours of calling, our for sale sign was up and our photos were booked in for 2 days time. Within around 10 days of it going online we had had I think 6 or so viewings and our home was officially sold. The whole process was incredibly efficient and the ladies at the office and who came to our home (Megan, Lauren & Sandra) absolutely lovely and made our first time selling a home so simple and straightforward. A special shout out to Sandra & Megan who had to put up with my incessant calling towards the end of our sale going through (we were eager to get to our new home haha!). Sandra was always happy to chase solicitors more than expected to, and helped us keep everything moving. I was an Executer for a house which I put in the hands of the Robert Ellis team in Arnold, who were very enthusiastic and obtained a constant stream of viewings, after several months a sale was agreed and I prepared the house, leaving it empty as the wishes of the buyer, then sadly the buyer’s chain was broken so once again the house was on the market , this time looking very different ,but true to form the team gained a constant stream of viewings eventually securing a satisfactory sale which has now completed.
The team were all very friendly and helpful , Holly and Lauren kept me updated and sorted out any queries I had.

The staff at the Lettings office in Beeston were extremely helpful. She showed us quite a few options suiting our family and arranged me an appointment very quickly.
The next day I had an appointment in Sullington road and I met another wonderful gentleman Mr. Joe, who showed me around the property and explained many things in detail. Honestly I was late to arrive at the site due to a confusion in getting the correct bus. But Joe stayed for me and assisted.
Only improvement I wish to see is that, it'll be great if they shared the agents mobile number before the appointment so we could communicate with them if required.

Excellent experience. The property had real positive vibes and perfect aesthetics which I was seeking. Most importantly the person who showed the property, Joe. He is so decent, well behaved and a great informative person. I must say Robert Ellis surpass the others in all dimensions. They have the most comfortable and aesthetically brilliant properties to offer, committed staff and more than that they have most well behaved and supportive staff regarding the viewings. I went for viewing with a damaged and fractured arm and terrible pain but Joe made me feel so comfortable that I forgot my unfortunate health condition. Even he wished me a speedy and safe recovery twice which other agency guys never did. Also he helped us to take the needed medication there. Daniel Burkey, Manager and Valuer, was very professional and ensured the whole process was as stress free as possible by responding quickly to any questions we had. The Robert Ellis team were fantastic throughout the sale of our house. We couldn't have felt more supported during the process, we were kept informed constantly with updates regarding viewings/offers etc. All members of the team we spoke to/interacted with were all incredibly friendly but also very knowledgeable. Lauren in particular did a fantastic job supporting us through the valuation process and her awareness and knowledge of the local area and market was incredible. We sold our house in under a week of it going on the market, the turnaround from pictures being taken to the house being on all of the main property sale websites and social media channels etc was astonishing. We couldn't recommend Lauren and the rest of the team more highly. Thanks again.
