3rd Sep 2026 (16 days ago)I sold my house a few months ago using Stevens and Carter and couldn’t recommend them highly enough!<br><br>Unfortunately, my house sale experienced some difficulties that were through no fault of the team, but were due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control, including mortgage offers for a buyer falling through and the sale therefore being unable to proceed. However, the team were incredibly quick to get us back on the market. Viewings were consistent, with detailed feedback provided, and ultimately I had competing offers to choose between when selling.<br><br>Expert advice was always available when needed and was explained in simple, easy-to-understand terms. The team always returned calls and messages promptly, and if one agent wasn’t available, the others made sure they knew what was going on so they could pick up any queries, providing a genuinely seamless service.<br><br>John, Sam, Samuel, Lucy and Nick all went above and beyond to get my sale through, and I couldn’t thank them enough. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Stevens and Carter to anyone looking to sell their home.

She was aware it was only a preliminary enquiry with no definite plans to sell immediately, yet the time & attention she gave me was over & above. No sales pitch, or false promises, just straightforward information delivered in such a kind, professional & connected manner. She’s a credit to the company & I wish her all the best regardless of whether I sell or not.

He answered all our questions, made us feel so welcomed as if it was his own home, welcoming guests into and even answered questions we didn’t even know we needed to ask. 10/10 customer service
20th Jul 2026 (9 weeks ago)Like many others, all they want is your signature on the agreement, they put it on rightmove etc and that's it. No one does any work anymore. Not even a call from them after going "live". Not recommended.
3rd Sep 2026 (16 days ago)We bought our house in 2021 through Nicola Bowler at Foresters and her attention and support was excellent at that time. When our circumstances changed in April 2026 and we were selling the house it was a "no brainer" who we would ask to act for us in the sale . Yet again Nicola and all her team were amazing, and she very quickly achieved a sale for us. She guided the whole process very carefully, and when the property we were proposing to buy hit complications, she and Toby very quickly arranged a rental property for us so that our sale could complete. We would give 6 Gold Stars if we could!

They always give 100% when transforming and styling spaces and take time to adjust minute details to allow properties to look their best. On top of that they have great personalities and look after those working with them and their customers. I just received a lovely card thanking me for working with them this year, an unexpected touch of kindness.

A special mention must go to Chris, whose communication skills are second to none. He kept me constantly updated and masterfully coordinated with both the solicitors and the other estate agents involved in the chain, making a stressful process feel incredibly smooth. Every single member of staff at the Hailsham office was professional, friendly, and helpful throughout. I cannot recommend them highly enough!
