Which they weren’t responsible for & could have just left us to deal with it on our own. Couldn’t be more pleased with their service & would highly recommend them to everyone looking to rent a property ??????

25th Nov 2019 (6 years ago)I first met Gareth of the Marshalswick Bradford and Howley branch when I was looking for somewhere to buy. He went out of his way to give me hints and tips about selling my place and buying - even though I was with another agent. The agent I was with made lots of errors and after the contracted time was over, I made the decision to sell with Bradford and Howley and 2 other agents. The other agents, despite all they promised, weren't able to bring many people round to view and I soon made the decision to go sole agent with Bradford and Howley. Unfortunately the market was very slow and after so much time on the market, the house was not easy to sell. The team at Marshalswick stuck with it though and kept up momentum keeping bringing prospective buyers round, despite me feeling quite down hearted. When we finally achieved a sale, the team in St Albans took over and the sale was finalised. Both Marshalswick and St Albans were friendly and approachable and didn't ever mind me asking questions, giving me reassurance etc. I would have no hesitation in recommending them or in using them again.

A shout out to Connor who did a few friendly showings and Chris who kept on top of sale the sale and communicated so well, nothing being too much even when I email bombed him! Thank you both. Am now all moved in and making my new nest.
22nd Jun 2026 (5 days ago)I had someone come round the other day to look at renting out my property as I plan to move away from the area and the guy did not really say anything positive about my house. Have to say that the guy did not come across as being very helpful and unlikely to use their services in going forwards and will take my business elsewhere.

I can't recommend him enough, he was highly professional and always made sure that the sale was progressing in a speedy manner. I never had to chase him once for any info or updates. 22nd Feb 2026 (18 weeks ago)Disappointing experience but possibly explained by the fact that we are located between two branches of Castles rather than being mainstream. We are now using a local mainstream agent and getting a much stronger response and positive leads.

10th Apr 2026 (11 weeks ago)I called Jamie at One Call Property Solutions Ltd to fit blinds which i ordered from Blinds Direct. It came with top fit fixture to fit within the recess. This meant the screw had to go through the lintel which was a difficult job. Jamie made it look easy and fitted the blinds on the same day. This is my second time calling them with bits and bob around the house. They do amazing job and leave the place clean as well. Looking forward to using the again in the future.
