10th Sep 2026 (7 days ago)Very disappointed from the service provided you can't make it up. Went to view a property last Saturday, the estate agent couldn't open the door so we had to leave. Then the office sent us a text two days later asking if we liked the property. How can we like a property we were unable to enter and how do you not know this happened. So unprofessional clearly no communication and I think the worst part was no one apologised! So poor.

22nd Jul 2026 (8 weeks ago)I cannot recommend this company more, especially Marina. From my first call in to me being accepted for a flat she has been extremely helpful. This is my first time renting, I didn’t expect the process to be so simple. (Thanks to Marina!) Marina was available out of hours, that was very helpful. I am really happy with the service Marina & Jimmy provided. Can’t recommend them enough. :)

25th Nov 2019 (6 years ago)I first met Gareth of the Marshalswick Bradford and Howley branch when I was looking for somewhere to buy. He went out of his way to give me hints and tips about selling my place and buying - even though I was with another agent. The agent I was with made lots of errors and after the contracted time was over, I made the decision to sell with Bradford and Howley and 2 other agents. The other agents, despite all they promised, weren't able to bring many people round to view and I soon made the decision to go sole agent with Bradford and Howley. Unfortunately the market was very slow and after so much time on the market, the house was not easy to sell. The team at Marshalswick stuck with it though and kept up momentum keeping bringing prospective buyers round, despite me feeling quite down hearted. When we finally achieved a sale, the team in St Albans took over and the sale was finalised. Both Marshalswick and St Albans were friendly and approachable and didn't ever mind me asking questions, giving me reassurance etc. I would have no hesitation in recommending them or in using them again.

22nd Jun 2026 (12 weeks ago)I had someone come round the other day to look at renting out my property as I plan to move away from the area and the guy did not really say anything positive about my house. Have to say that the guy did not come across as being very helpful and unlikely to use their services in going forwards and will take my business elsewhere.

In the last few days trying to get the property over the line Emma diligently worked keeping and working with me she truly is an asset to any company. 22nd Feb 2026 (6 mo. ago)Disappointing experience but possibly explained by the fact that we are located between two branches of Castles rather than being mainstream. We are now using a local mainstream agent and getting a much stronger response and positive leads.
7th Mar 2025 (1 year ago)I mainly dealt with mArie when I was selling my property. She was on time for appointments and kept me informed and up to date. It did take a while to eventually sell the property, this was probably due to interest rates and the property being bespoke
