   I purchased a house from Shenley Estates and although selling and buying a house is far from a pleasant experience, Shenley Estates get the job done. Although Natalie was working on behalf of the sellers, I believe that from when I viewed my house to the actual completion, it mattered to her that I was matched well and that my future happiness was also important to her.    When I enquired about a property’s asking price and the seller’s position, I was met with terse, dismissive replies from the female agent I spoke to on the phone - a remarkably unhelpful attitude towards a serious buyer. I decided to proceed with the viewing regardless, but communication remained poor throughout. Afterwards, I submitted a formal offer, which was completely ignored. I never received any confirmation or follow-up, and it appeared my offer may not even have been passed to the vendors - which, if true, would be a breach of legal duty. The overall experience suggested a lack of basic organisation, professionalism, and integrity. For sellers, that should be alarming; for buyers, it’s simply exasperating.     Absolutely brilliant from start to finish! We would not hesitate to recommend Lowther Estate Agents to anyone.<br>We have had to work with 4 estate agents over the last 2 years for various reasons and Lowthers were by far the best. Richard was our agent and point of contact right throughout the process, for both our purchase and our sale. He was exceptional - and everything we wanted from our agent. He was available, accessible, down to earth, accommodating with requests, never pushy - and he supplied regular communications and updates. He understood that the move was a major life event for us and he managed the whole process calmly and professionally, chasing where necessary and advising as required.
