   Unfortunately I had a terrible experience with Downer & Co. Having invited them and others to value my property I decided to go with them as my partner thought they were the most 'salesy' so would do a good job. It was definitely all talk as became apparent very quickly.<br><br>I was upfront to them that, having a newborn, I would prefer to have viewings on the same day/one after another and yet I was constantly only given ad-hoc timeslots on random days due to their lack of availability of staff. It was an upheaval to accommodate. The few people that did view clearly weren't looking for the things my property offered so I don't even think they were properly informed or questioned prior to booking. A huge waste of all our time.<br><br>Communication after signing their terms was poor and at one point it had gone 3 weeks without hearing a thing. When I called to chase and ask for advice on how to proceed, Stuart joked that I could 'drop the price by £50k and it would sell' - I should add, it was listed for the amount he valued it at.<br><br>The person conducting the viewings knew nothing about the property, I saw him on the ring doorbell at one viewing unable to find the keys and telling the viewers he didn't have them (they were in a key safe and given the code AND he had conducted a previous viewing!) in another, he was being asked questions about the property and was unable to answer any of them - all information had been provided when I registered so he hadn't bothered to look.<br><br>All in all just incredibly unprofessional. When I found a property I wanted to buy I gave notice, changed agents and the property sold in 8 days after just one morning of viewings back to back. It was like night and day.    After having very difficult & rule breaking tenants for 9 months we were not surprised when they 'jumped ship, without paying rent until the end of the tenancy. We were not allowed into the flat until the end of the tenancy when the check out Inventory was done. Then, surprise surprise the robbing tenants asked for their deposit back! Emily of Sansome & George was very helpful in advising me of the correct process to follow & helped me to secure payment of the deposit which went part way to reimbursing us for the funds lost.    I would not recommend Purplebricks services. I paid for a hosted viewings package as I was unable to conduct viewings myself. The first viewing was booked and confirmed by the hosted viewings team however the team failed to turn up to show the potential buyer the property, as a result they could not view the property. After I made a complaint I received an Armenia response form the hosted viewings team denying it was their fault. It also seems that out of spite the hosted viewings package was deactivated on my account, without my permission or request and unbeknown to me. A second viewing was booked which again, the hosted viewings team did not turn up to. Purplebricks effectively seemed to be trying their best to block the sale of my property by not allowing people to access my property. They could not provide a sufficient answer as to why they failed to turn up twice and I lost all confidence that they could sell my flat and as a result I took it off the market. The complaints process took several weeks to deal with my complaint and an initial offer of a £225 refund was an insult given that I paid £1499 for the package (hosted viewings listed as £899). A second and final offer saw a refund of £625, which is still no where near enough to pay me back for their failure to comply with the contract and the inconvenience I experienced given they significantly delayed the sale of my property....    Just wanted to say a huge thank you to the EweMove team and especially to Craig, Olivia and Megan who were involved throughout the whole process. We were really impressed with EweMove from our first viewing and how knowledgeable Craig was about our house and the area. He answered our many questions and a few we hadn't thought of. We were fairly clueless as first time buyers and Craig was particularly helpful in the first stages of guaging timeframes and next steps. The whole team kept us updated throughout and were all knowledgeable, reassuring, trustworthy and professional. We would definately reccommend to anyone looking to buy or sell in the area.
