I used Reeds Reeds to sell my house on Albert Road, to move to Malta, I had NEVER ever sold a house before. Lisa was re-assuring and guided me through the process. The team were on hand to help me whenever I popped in, always a friendly face to help. Safe to say I won't be back in Leyland BUT if any one ever asked me I would be recommending REEDS RAINS.
Extremely poor service provided by this company. If you do take on a rental, take photos of everything to back up the poor conditions the property has been left in prior to your agreement or you will be footing the bill. If you have problems with your facilities you will have to organise them and chase them up constantly to have them repaired.
I bought and sold with Bridgfords Leyland - my house sold before I had chance to procrastinate! The team at Leyland are friendly, professional and most importantly, realistic. They were always available when I needed them which I believe, made the whole experience less stressful than it could have been. I highly recommend Bridgfords Leyland for anyone buying and/or selling in the area.
Thank you so much for your fantastic service! Sold in just two weeks! Very impressed!
Absolutely fantastic service in helping me and my partner move into our very first home togsther.
I would highly recommend entwistle to anybody willing to move not just into a first property but any property that you should wish to move from into a new one.
Vicky and Jessica have both been very lovely and helping towards us during our move
i found the lady on the phone extremely pushy wanting me to book an appointment with there financial adviser. After saying no I didn't want to for my own personal reasons, she continued a further three times!!
I then had a discussion on the phone the day after and the lady said 'will your partner...I mean..EX partner be dropping your I.d off! I felt this was really unprofessional and hurt me. She should of used Mr or his first name
Then the final straw was when I rang to tell a member of staff we would not be using entwistle green to sell our house, she seemed discusted and asked why? I told her they were more expensive and we're going with another company. She was adamant for to me speak with them to discus figures, but I explained sorry I'm at work...I can't..so please pass on the message! And she put the phone down on me!!!!???? I could not believe the attitude I received off the staff! Pushy, inconsiderate and I would never use them!!!
I am now in my 2nd property through Maria B Evans. Helpful, professional and great communication. I couldn't recommend them enough.
I have read the negative review and can only asume they have placed it vindictively.
Do not let a property from this agent. Where do I begin, untrustworthy, dishonest, rude and I could go on.
Firstly, a property was displayed for let in the billinge area. It commanded our attention straight away so prompted me to firstly email Maria B Evans estate agents based in Parbold, when I had received no response to this it was followed up with a phone call a couple of hours later. I spoke with a lady now known to me as Maria herself from the agent who agreed she had received the email & took a whole host of details from me and said they would see if it met with the approval of the landlord first. I received a call a short time later stating it did and was advised I could view the property on Thursday that week. I asked several questions about the property to be told there is someone of the other line she'd have to go. I should have realised at this point this agent were certainly not going to be reasonable.
I viewed the property at 17.15 that Thursday. I arrived at 1700 and waited outside, The only other viewer arrived late at 17.10 for their appointment and ran inside. I left it a few minutes and followed suit. On getting inside I was greeted by the current tenants who answered most of the questions as the agent (Maria & young apprentice) could not answer them such as council tax band etc. I was shown around asked several questions, during this time the other viewer left the property. I was told by the agent if I was interested in letting the property (which I had firmly explained I was) to call their office in the morning and pay the fees. If the other viewer wanted the property then it would be the landlords decision.
The following morning I rang the office to be greeted by the same lady (Maria) I had throughout. She stated, sorry the property is now let. When asked how this was possible she stated the other viewer had rang the office at 18.20 that evening and she was in the office after returning from the property and 'had' to take the call, it all seems very orcastrated. She then took payment and agreed over the phone. I voiced my concern as I was categorically told to ring the following morning to be told 'it's just the way it is unfortunately'. I then asked, as discussed with her previously, could my interest not be relayed to the landlord to which she stated no, we have already agreed with the other viewer.
It is my opinion I never stood a chance in letting that property and had simply been called to view the house as a visible presence to secure the other viewer. I took time off work, arranged child care and was dismissed when I followed the simple instruction of the agent. The agent continuing to practice and take calls past the 17.30 close time is one excuse, but the following explanation that she then contacted the landlord who agreed as I may not be interested is just bad form. My interest was in little doubt. The property was always going to the other viewer, I have little doubt the call received around 1 hour after practising hours was far from coincidental, I never stood a chance .
This agent thus far is the least transparent, highly disloyal and incredibly underhanded agent I have dealt with. They wouldn't stand a chance in the hypothetical customer service and general fair decency awards but they would walk the snobbery and un-trustworthy award hands down. Potential customer be aware, I would suggest my story is common practice unfortunately.
I sold my house in three days with Brian Pilkington. Very efficient sellers, especially as they will show the age of things like windows and conservatories in the listing, whilst other companies fall way behind in this, never able to answer such key questions, or if they do, it's days later! Very knowledgeable in the housing sector and able to give great advice to me as I didn't know everything. During my house buying, I experienced many other estate agents, but they did not have the same level of expertise. Commission rates were very reasonable. Would throughly recommend.
Made an offer of the asking price there and then , very disappointed to find that they offered the house to a higher bidder and they didn't even ask me ! This. Company have no values !
