The team led by Helen were helpful from the start. Communication was great whereby we were kept informed of each viewing and the outcome. Our first point of contact was Frankie who advised on options available such S leaving white goods to the Buyer which saved having to remove from the property, ie a win win for both Seller and Buyer.

Targets the estate has to meet in terms of booking mortgage appointments in seem to take over selling properties. The staff are pleasant. Sometimes they encourage out of hours viewings so you will do it. I think the main problem is sourcing viewings on the back of mortgage appointments. This results in viewers who cannot afford the property or are not really interested in viewing it.

First and foremost I must lay the basis of our journey. My partner and I were first-time buyers, from Chorley and had struggled to find the right place to fit. We had reservations about relocating to Leyland however upon meeting Helen (our House Guru) those qualms were laid to rest.
She was amazing, a truly lovely estate agent who was upfront, friendly and most of all genuine in our first-time approach to the housing market. Our property was shown and we loved it, we made an offer on the spot!

I was SO grateful to have Jamie-Leigh helping me with the purchase of my new house. She was always happy to help and full of practical help and guidance. I must comment that Jamie-Leigh’s communication was excellent which really helped make the whole process run more smoothly. The team was very good at selling their services to us as well as putting the house on the Market and sell it. However when it comes to customer aftercare and keeping in touch during the conveyancing process was a different story. From advising us to use Countrywide Conveyancing to us having to chase all parties involved to get the process moving while listening to patronising answers on why this whole madness takes 6 months to complete was not part of the package we have been told we are getting at the beginning. Quite poor performance considering that we were the customer who paid their fees. (Even the couple who bought the house from us told me they would never chose Entwistle Green to sell the property again) Meanwhile do understand that in the current Covid Climate things do take a bit longer, we have friends and neighbours who have put their properties on the market and completed within 4 months so not sure a simple chain like ours why couldn't do just that.

Big shout out to the team at Leyland. Specifically Carol Shepherd and Jamie-Leigh Oak who have worked tirelessly to help completion within my chain applying excellent communication skills. Even more impressive by the fact that Entwistle Green were not even my estate agents they were acting on behalf of the seller. I personally chose to sell with Strike and whilst they may be cheaper they provided very little support/updates once we had achieved a sale on our own property and found our new home. The chain itself was very problematic with more than its fair share of hurdles yet I never received any updates from Strike. However with Carol's tenacity and focus our move went ahead and as such I would highly recomend this company.

After dealing with this company for the first time today I am extremely disappointed to have experienced a rude and dismissive attitude from the staff I spoke to. I was told I couldn’t view a property as mine wasn’t on the market - which is understandable. I then rung our estate agent to get ours on the market a week earlier so we could arrange to view the property earlier and then called Entwistle Green back to which again I was dismissed and told I would be called back after they had spoken to the home owners. After waiting until 4pm still not hearing anything I called the office again to chase and spoke to another lady who said I would be called back before 5pm, which I haven’t been. I don’t appreciate being spoken down to by anyone and completely dismissed and I will not consider using again as I’d like to avoid a stressful home move!

Really disappointed with this company I rang 5 times over varying weeks was initially told we could have a valuation on some land and then was told 3 weeks later they didn’t do commercial at their branch which was different to what we were told originally. Communication was very poor in my opinion and has cost me 3 weeks of time. Had to take business elsewhere.

We bought our house 10 years ago through this agent. When we came to sell early in 2020 this agent was one of three we contacted for a price. The same agent who showed us around 10 years ago turned up! She stated that property on our estate sold in days and she was adamant she could sell it for us. Not the cheapest quote but when asked to meet the cheapest she agreed to do it to get our business. She also upheld her statement about selling it for us in days as within 10 days we had sold. Easy to get hold off and no fuss. Even when COVID struck and everything ground to a halt for 6 months they kept us upto date with everything. No hesitation in recommending this firm.

Worst estate agent I have ever used. I would not recommend this company. First of all check your contract period. We were locked in for 24 weeks. This is completely disheartening when you don't have many viewings or offers. The initial meeting was wonderful and the lady from Leyland, Helen who came, filled me with the upmost confidence. After this, the whole process became a disheartening mess. The rest of the branch hadn't a clue what was going on. I received very little feedback from viewings. The only offer we had was when Helen did the viewing, is she the only person working? They told our buyers one set of lies and didn't bother to communicate with us. For the £2700 we paid, I would look elsewhere for somewhere cheaper and with a more personal touch.

I used an internet based estate agent to sell my property (went cheap) and found them to be an absolute waste of time. I foolishly believed all estate agents to be the same, that once it was on the internet they had done their bit. How wrong I was, I viewed 9 properties today with a number of agents. Seeing it from the buyers side I have completely changed my opinion. Ailie from Entwistle Green was fantastic, worked hard behind the scene to arrange my viewings at short notice, provided me packs for each property and was polite and professional throughout. I honestly wish I had gone there to sell my property.

We had our house valued today and although we know some works are required the estate agent was rude. She appeared to take an instant disliking to myself to what I could only describe as ageist. She raised her voice when comparables was discussed and was openly unprofessional about other estate agents in the local area. Can only recommend to anyone to use any other estate agents!

i found the lady on the phone extremely pushy wanting me to book an appointment with there financial adviser. After saying no I didn't want to for my own personal reasons, she continued a further three times!!
I then had a discussion on the phone the day after and the lady said 'will your partner...I mean..EX partner be dropping your I.d off! I felt this was really unprofessional and hurt me. She should of used Mr or his first name
Then the final straw was when I rang to tell a member of staff we would not be using entwistle green to sell our house, she seemed discusted and asked why? I told her they were more expensive and we're going with another company. She was adamant for to me speak with them to discus figures, but I explained sorry I'm at work...I can't..so please pass on the message! And she put the phone down on me!!!!???? I could not believe the attitude I received off the staff! Pushy, inconsiderate and I would never use them!!!

We bought a buy to let property through this agency and Denise, in particular, went far beyond our expectations. She has an excellent knowledge of the whole process involved in buying and selling and was quick to prompt solicitors on both sides of the deal. She came up with a number of solutions to the legal issues we came up against. During the final stages she even drove out to a lay-by many miles away,during the night, to get paper work signed on our behalf to ensure that the sale proceeded! Wow! An excellent service which we would heartily recommend.

I highly recommend the staff at Entwistle Green's Leyland branch office. I took their advice from the start and was confident that they could deliver what I asked of them. Choosing their Enhanced Package paid dividends and within a short space of time I had the viewings they had promised and a sale pending. The staff kept me up to speed throughout the sale process and liaised in a professional manner with all parties. I would not hesitate to say in my opinion they are by far the superior agents in Leyland if you want the sale process to be a positive experience in every way. The Leyland branch is fortunate to have the services of a knowledgeable and experienced Executive Branch Manager heading up a strong team. However, I didn't choose to have Countrywide conveyancing services acting for me in a legal capacity as I was able to negotiate a more competitive quote elsewhere.

Jennifer Jenkins was the first person from Entwistle Green, Leyland, that I had the pleasure to meet when she came to view and value our property. She was extremely enthusiastic, pro-active and professional in her approach and covered every aspect and detail of the potential sale before leaving, some one and a half hours later, with all the necessary details and measurement of the potential sale to be agreed by ourselves.
Once I appointed Entwistle Green, Leyland to represent us for our sale, I was contacted by Denise Robinson from the E/G office, who was likewise equally pro-active and professional, and kept us fully informed of every viewing and subsequent feedback from each viewer. The fact that the property sold in under two months, is testament to a team I fully applaud. What should have been a simple purchase for us turned out to be complicated and lengthy. However Louise and Debbie were absolutely fantastic given that we were not their clients!
Throughout Debbie was on the ball and when things started to go downhill, without prompting, she was chasing and pushing to move things along. Had it not been for Debbie and Louise being persistent we would have pulled out of the purchase. Thanks to them we finally completed.
The whole team was professional throughout with good customer service, communication was excellent.

The initial contact was very positive and enthusiastic, such that I chose Entwistle Green over the other estate agents. The positive marketing methods they employ clearly work. I approved a draft marketing document on Sunday, the property went live on the Monday, the first viewing was on that Monday and by the following Saturday a sale had been agreed at above the asking price.
What more can you ask for?!!!
