1st Aug 2022 (3 years ago)I dealt with Berkley estate agents when I was considering selling my property. I needed advice and a valuation. The service and the advice I received was excellent and hassle free. Unlike other estate agents who have either not got back to me, took the wrong details down. Once I have decided what to do I will go straight to Berkle.
6th Jan 2026 (15 weeks ago)The sale of Whirlow House was the sale of my family home of 48 years after the death of my second parent. We’d moved in, from another house in Kirby Muxloe, when I was 7 years old. Although I had moved out many years previously, the processing and clearing out of the house was a hugely emotional- not to mention physical- ordeal. I really needed an estate agent who ‘got it’ and got what it meant to me. Alex Broadley, who I did not previously know but I had seen flyers/cards for, was one of several estate agents I considered for the selling of Whirlow. It had to be Alex- he presented well and additionally, being Kirby Muxloe born and bred himself, he had unbeatable interest in the history and selling of the houses in this village especially, and crucially, he ‘got’ me. And Whirlow. And he had an accurate eye for potential buyer interest. He was also very astute and considered in dealing with my many queries. Alex made a hideous situational sale manageable and bearable and I cannot overstate the importance of that to me.

23rd May 2025 (10 mo. ago)I didn't know that much about Northwood only that I had seen their For Sale boards up around areas of the city. So we decided to give them a go.From the first meeting we had at their Doncaster office we were quietly impressed with their professionalism and the local knowledge. And all the way through the sale they have kept us up-to-date with happenings. We would advise anyone who is thinking of buying or selling their property to give them ago , you won't be disappointed. 1st class.

3rd Oct 2024 (1 year ago)We knew we were selling at a lower price but they found a buyer quickly and knowing there were no estate agency fees or solicitors fees brought the price closer to what we had hoped for.
7th Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)Communication with this company was extremely poor throughout my tenancy, despite paying £1,300 for a two-bedroom flat with a mini garden 3 blocks away from the main flat. Getting responses to basic queries was often difficult. Sometimes the owner of the property would have to come by himself to rectify simple queries, and I wondered why he contracted them to manage his property. During one inspection, an inspector walked into my wife’s home office while she was in the middle of a work meeting and started taking photos standing behind her facing the camera. Although inspections are part of the contract, basic courtesy would have been to wait until her meeting had finished before entering the room. When I raised this concern, it was dismissed by the property manager Thomas Fisher, he rudely told me I signed my contract and that was in the contract. I also raised other matters with the property manager, Thomas Fisher, but it was never taken seriously. When I later decided to move out due to the overall experience, additional charges were raised by Thomas Fisher even though the property had been professionally cleaned and confirmed by one of their staff stating the cleaning and the whole state of the property was spotless. Overall, a very disappointing experience and a lack of professionalism especially from Thomas Fisher, I would advise others to carefully consider before renting through this company.

22nd Mar 2026 (29 days ago)Associate director consciously chose to breach trust rendering my relationship with the company as both a seller and buyer, completely untenable. My interests were entirely secondary as demonstrated by their actions. I received assurances they weren’t prepared to uphold, was made promises they weren’t prepared to keep and set expectations they weren’t prepared to follow through. Avoid this estate agent and use one of the many others available.
