Shauna came to view our house several years ago, although we changed our mind about selling at the time we were so impressed with her attitude and expertise we tracked her down at Melissa Berry! Shauna communicated brilliantly and we were always in the loop, she was proactive and responsive with updates. We accepted an offer within 2 weeks. We loved that she gave us lots of tips and advice on selling our home, something we hadn't found in other agents in Prestwich. Shauna also recommended a local removal company 'we move it a2b' who did a great job and were able to help last minute.

Repairs are always quickly carried out without any problems or inconvenience. I would highly recommend this team to anybody who is looking for rented accommodation and for landlords looking for that no nonsense service!

23rd Jun 2024 (7 mo. ago)Don't choose them unless you are prepared to: 1. Lose all your deposit because they require you to pay for the time they spend looking for a new tenant, even though you gave a 1-month notice and the contract didn't state that you need to do so. 2. Not receive any support from them; for example, the bin was missing from day one, and they ignored all the emails I sent requesting a new bin instead of sharing with the neighbour. 3. Pay for equipment repairs (washing machine, water heater, etc.) even though the contract states that the landlord is responsible for repairs. 4.Receive an email from them asking you to pay your rent to a new account that is different from the one in the contract. They can claim that they never received the rent, so be aware!

21st Nov 2024 (9 weeks ago)Before we met Mark, we had a less than palatable experience with Lancashire Lettings as a rental management company and later as a sales company. However, Mark came along and was communicating, keeping us in the loop, and responsive.
31st Dec 2024 (26 days ago)Wanted to have the property valued for rental, made appointment date and time- they didn’t turn up or even communicate why they couldn’t attend. Terrible, the least they could do would let you know so not to waste your time.
18th Mar 2024 (10 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
