I had a viewing booked for today at 4:40 PM. I arrived around 4:30 PM and waited outside for approximately 30 minutes, but nobody showed up.
I then went to the office to find out what was going on. The staff there called the person who was apparently supposed to be handling the viewing, only to be told that there was no viewing booked for me today.
What makes this even more frustrating is that I had already spoken to them about this viewing beforehand, and I also received a call from them this morning confirming that my viewing was at 4:40 PM today.
So I travelled there, waited outside for half an hour, and then had to go to their office myself just to be told that apparently there was no appointment. This was a complete waste of my time and extremely frustrating.
If you can’t manage your own viewing appointments or communicate properly with customers, at least have the professionalism to let people know rather than making them travel and stand outside waiting for someone who isn’t coming.
Very poor communication, organisation and customer service. I would seriously think twice before dealing with this company.
13th May 2025 (1 year ago)Turned up looking like she'd been beaten, which is forgiveable but knew nothing whatsoever about the property. Utterly useless representing a property, actively put us off it, and conned an old man into the greediest strategy we've head in two years of searching. Thanks for wasting everyone's time, Caesar and Howie.
4th Nov 2026 (3 days ago)Gavin from Homes for You was brilliant. He arrived at appointments as arranged, was helpful with local knowledge and how to arrange the property for sale. He kept me updated on any progress and gave strong advice on what to do. Overall extremely happy with all aspects of their service.

They were not particularly proactive, communication was poor at times, and the service felt quite old-fashioned and outdated compared with what I would expect from a modern property company. The weekend staff in particular could also benefit from some training in basic customer service.
24th Oct 2026 (14 days ago)It has been a great process running tenancy with DJ Alexander . Caroline Connelly has been great in every step, she runs by ever step and makes sure you do understand. Good lord the referencing agents have been painful but nothing negative at all from DJ Alexander

Very polite and professional at all times, and keeping me informed every step of the way.

We have just sold our house and are delighted we used Mason Homes, the full team really exceeded expectations.
Having dealt with lots of their team members, they all share the same professionalism & knowledge. We also feel like we were listened to throughout, and the marketing & promotional services were also all excellent.
Will always recommend them to anybody local, as they are a fantastic addition to Linlithgow and have made our sale process so much easier.
