28th Jun 2024 (29 days ago)Chris Roberts was instrumental in getting the process complete, if i didn't have chris fighting my corner i would have never been took seriously Gilson Gray (vendor's solicitor's) and YOPA are god awful, no communication, no professionalism it felt they were laughing at me, whereas when Chris got involved, things finally moved on Can't thank Chris enough, and will never have a good word to say about YOPA or Gilson Gray

The sale of an elderly relatives property was sensitively handled and we were expertly guided throughout the whole process. Can't thank the team enough. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone and goes without saying that we would use again if the need arose.

The whole team went above and beyond for us and we can’t thank them enough . We went to a few mortgage advisors and felt we were still left clueless. Then we came to bairstow and had a really positive experience with Ella. She was very informative and has been really helpful with the process. She was always an email/phone call away and no question felt stupid. I could not recommend Ella enough.

I've the first time to get more FTB attention, then invited WHBrown in to get advise about how to sell and the only thing they wanted was to get me to sign off another price reduction. I emailed them for a review and they have given me no feedback.- 3rd Jul 2024 (24 days ago)I am very grateful for all the team, even though my purchase wasn’t through them, the sales team, Nial and Reo was still very helpful whenever needed! I used Dean Bickley for my mortgage advisor and couldn’t recommend him enough, always on hand when needed. Very helpful and helped me all the way through my purchase! Overall I highly recommend using the team for any house buying or selling!

From the first contact of arranging valuation with Josh to him attending my home has been one of the best experiences I could of had in the scary world of buying and selling a house. Impeccable professionalism and attention to detail from how he was dressed, the knowledge he had and the lovely comfortable feel he gave off. No pressure to sell with them. Phoebe also on the mortgage side of things I could not fault. Everything explained in terms I understood. I can not wait to see what the future holds working with this agent. Highly recommended. Unrealistic valuation, far too high for the area that the property was situated in. Having decided to sell, we invited a number of estate agents out for the valuation process. Alice from the Mapperley branch came to see us. She made us feel at complete ease with the process and spent time explaining the process in full. She was knowledgeable and knew the market at the time. Although we didn’t actually decide to sell with them, Alice still kept in touch and suggested ideas when we weren’t initially getting people through the door. Even when we did eventually get a sale, she still kept in touch, congratulating us for the journey. We found Alice pleasant to deal with and had our circumstances been just a little different, we would definitely had been giving her a call to market our property. We would certainly have no issues in recommending anyone to give them a go. Thank you for keeping in touch Alice, accredit to the team.

Very disappointed, especially the distinct lack of communication, as the personal touch and promises from this independent agent was what made us choose them above other well established local agents.Very few, poorly matched viewings, ended up withdrawing our property.

18th Mar 2024 (19 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Especially with Ollie, he’s been an absolute star! Very helpful and polite. He was able to give all the information I needed to know. Many thanks to him. :)

Emma Atkinson was absolutely amazing- she kept us fully informed about the property we applied to rent, was always extremely friendly and seemed almost as happy as us when we were approved! I think I must have phoned the agency about 3-4 times throughout the process with questions, and nothing was ever too much trouble- couldn’t recommend them enough :)
