Having no prior experience with the UK rental process, I was referred to Lydia Barnes at Reeds Rains by a local Airbnb host in Rye, and I’m so glad I was!<br><br>From my very first email inquiry through to signing our tenancy agreement, the entire Rye team was patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. 17th Dec 2025 (10 mo. ago)Asked if it was possible to get a all be it large reduction on a rental property per month if I were to guarantee the rent for 4/5 years and was sent a very passive aggressive response from the lettings manager Edward Gailey “so just to be clear you’re offering X for a property listed at X per month?” Unwarranted response when he could have just said that this wasn’t possible on this property and then could have suggested some other properties in my bracket! None the less they have lost a tenant that was about to let 4 properties in one go! Oh well, maybe some customer service training wouldn’t go a miss for Mr Gailey lettings manager?
