16th Nov 2024 (18 weeks ago)I am really glad I chose Cooper and Tanner. They are incredibly supportive and always there when I needed them. Their patience with my wobbles and my questions was amazing! The sale price was well below the valuation which was disappointing. This may have been partly due to the market difficulties at this time but I feel that possibly they did not pick up just how big a problem not having an upstairs bathroom would be. However other estate agents who valued the property did not seem to pick this up either. In all other areas I absolutely cannot fault them.

Dean Speer gave me good advice about what needed to be done to make the unit more marketable and Jonathan Colquhoun liaised with the new tenants and made the whole process run smoothly. The Domus team in Wareham, Alison Owens and Trisha Ashby-Rudd, who succeeded in selling my property in Bere Regis were absolutely fabulous from the start to the end of the process. Realistic about the price to ask for and making everything work when I, the client, was beginning to despair. Selling a listed cottage in a conservation area turned out to be even more difficult than I feared it would be. But Domus worked the necessary miracles. I am one super happy customer/client.

Initially with property valuation from John, who was very honest with his advice and knowledge of the area and the sales process. John was fantastic through the whole sales process, finding me a genuine buyer and keeping me informed along the way. He helped keep the chain together with both the sale and my purchase of a new home, without John we wouldn't have met the demands and time lines given to us. Would never hesitate to use Austin Hawk again, Thanks again to John and the wider team.

17th Feb 2025 (5 weeks ago)Rebecca Payne was great. Initial valuation was over optimistic and they almost immediately back pedalled with how the market had changed in a week so the value was now much lower (a very frustrating tactic). Also they advised using a solicitor (in Cardiff) who actually give them a £450 kick back (the agents did not mention this). The solicitors were difficult to contact and could not make international calls (?!) so not much use for me as I live in Canada. Rebecca was good at bridging the gap with the solicitors and was always super helpful and patient with my frustrations. Overall a pretty typical experience I think. The relationship with the Cardiff solicitors should be made very clear. I suspect failing to make it clear is probably illegal. I would definitely have used a local solicitor in retrospect but might use Austin Wyatt again.
26th Jul 2022 (2 years ago)Over valued our property at £1,500,000. Then asked us to reduce asking price by £250,000, had people viewing offering £1,000,000 thinking we were desperate to sell because of the large reduction. Sacked them after two months, house never sold.

Joe, Donna ,Courtney and Helen were amazing, professional and friendly throughout the entire process, even with delays caused along the chain and the stressful situation the process can be, they went above and beyond to assist, chase up solicitors, other estate agents and be available whenever we needed them. Highly recommend!

Selling a house can be stressful but at every stage we received guidance, support and clarity. No hesitation in recommending them to you in the highest possible terms

25th Feb 2025 (24 days ago)Awful Estate Agents made a sale more stressful never kept us updated , did not carry out their promised, often gave wrong information, would not check rest of chain - in the end we spoke to Charters (who we purchased through) who we great - updated us weekly - Sold our property in January 2024 and finally moving today

I’m probably unaware of most of the hard work that went on behind the scenes making the whole process as stress free as possible when you are moving house. All that’s left for me is to unpack all the boxes.
