   We had ongoing issues with the honesty and support we received from this agency during our purchase. Our independently arranged snagging inspector had a failed visit because the developer forgot the appointment and the property wasn't ready. We were charged £399 by the inspector, in line with his standard terms for a missed visit. Rather than holding the developer accountable, a staff member phoned our inspector and questioned his honesty about how the booking was made. The inspector later told us this in writing himself, describing it as "concerning." Only after he pushed back with a clear account of events did the agency admit in writing that we "certainly shouldn't be charged for a service that wasn't carried out," but no resolution was actually offered. Separately, when we queried being asked to cover the developer's solicitor's fees, our own solicitor had already explained the general process to us. Our concern was that the developer wasn't following up as agreed to justify the specific charge. Despite this, we were told the agency was "surprised our solicitor hadn't explained it", which wasn't accurate, since it had been explained. Our actual query was never properly addressed. Our experience was that when we raised legitimate concerns, the agency's instinct was to defend the developer rather than engage honestly with what we were telling them.... Read more

   Fine and Country we ok but I feel they could have been better........ The photos were taken in the winter but the house didn't get marked until June because of the pandemic. We felt that the external photographs did not show the house at its best, this was also commented on by a couple of viewings, therefore we discussed this with Fine and Country - their response was "well you approved the photos" . In light of this and having a limited viewings I took it upon myself to take my own photographys with my iPad which I emailed to Fine and Country and requested the pictures to be swapped....    ?????<br><br>I honestly cannot thank Geering & Colyer, Kearsney enough for everything they have done for us.<br><br>After having such an awful and stressful experience with an independent estate agent, we were understandably quite apprehensive about going through the whole process again. From the moment we dealt with Aidan Flynn, the Branch Manager, and Angela Morse, that feeling completely changed.<br><br>Aidan was absolutely fantastic in going through so much relevant data to help us get set up. He was professional, approachable and, most importantly, genuinely cared about getting the best possible outcome for us. Angela was equally brilliant and went above and beyond to help us find our onward move, which took a huge amount of pressure off our shoulders.<br><br>There were moments when the whole process felt overwhelming with some solicitor/chain delays, but having Aidan and Angela there made us feel like we weren’t dealing with everything alone. They kept us informed, listened to us and always did everything they could to move things forward.<br><br>After the experience we’d had previously, we had honestly lost a lot of faith in estate agents. Aidan and Angela completely restored that faith.     We honestly couldn’t be more impressed with Rafferty and Pickard Estate Agents! From start to finish, the team were prompt, professional, friendly and genuinely engaging.
