3rd Jul 2026 (4 weeks ago)I have been using Andover Connells for some time now and they never fail to impress. A special to James Bell, the Lettings Manager, who has once again done an excellent job. James managed to find the right tenants for our property quickly, with no gap in tenancy, which is exactly what every landlord hopes for. This is just one example of the many seamless and professional services they provide.<br>I highly recommend Andover Connells to anyone looking for reliable and efficient lettings support.
16th Jul 2026 (18 days ago)I have used Austin Hawk before and had a positive experience, so I came back to them in April 2026 for a tenant find. Unfortunately this time around the experience was completely different and I would not recommend them to any landlord based on what followed. First, they drafted a tenancy agreement with my name spelled incorrectly throughout, an error entirely of their own making, and then had the audacity to try and charge me £150 plus VAT to fix it. After pushing back firmly this was eventually dropped, but it set the tone for everything that followed. The applicant they sourced had failed to disclose her husband's intended occupation on her application form, her referencing form, and verbally at viewing when their own member of staff specifically asked who would be moving in. This only came to light after agreements had been signed and money had changed hands. At that point their own written advice to me was that they would not legally be comfortable proceeding due to statutory overcrowding risk. So their own agent confirmed the tenancy was legally unsafe, yet they still pursued me for their full setup fee. What followed was months of back and forth in which they consistently avoided engaging with the legal arguments I put to them in writing, ignored the specific clauses of their own contract that clearly showed no fee was due, and simply repeated that I should pay up. It was only when I formally invoked their complaints procedure and referenced The Property Ombudsman that they agreed to settle at a significantly reduced figure. The whole experience was unnecessarily stressful and time consuming. I felt that they knew their position was weak but pushed it regardless, hoping I would simply give in. I did not, but not everyone has the time or knowledge to fight back. If you are a landlord considering using Austin Hawk, read their Terms of Business carefully before signing anything and make sure everything discussed verbally is confirmed in writing. You may need it.

My buying process wasn't straight forward but she was always on hand to answer questions and reassure me. This is especially great as a first time buyer, the process can feel overwhelming but Ali was amazing every step of the way! 10/10 would recommend to anyone currently looking to buy.

They have been extremely professional, great communication and understanding that my mum is elderly and being very patient with her. I was kept in the loop for all viewings and backed up with texts & emails. Overall I’m completely satisfied with Graham & Co.

An honest and extremely helpful discussion on what's involved and how to proceed. Highly recommended as a point of contact and will not hesitate to use should the need arise.
19th Jun 2020 (6 years ago)Terrible service, from people who are not attentive and do not care. had to sell the house privately and then then went legal for a fee they did not earn, as they had taken the house off rightmove etc and did not keep in contact with the buyer, lawyers or anyone. Lesson is to read the fine details of estate agents contracts

Both the experiences have been great and Charters have always stood out in terms of the service quality they offer (esp compared to other agencies). Tom in particular has been very helpful throughout the process from managing the sales negotiation to sales progression and has always been approachable and very responsive with regards to any questions we had. The rest of the team we have spoken to, Lottie, Paul and Alex have been great to work with as well.

We had a constructive discussion re timing and pricing; the photos and description in the ads was excellent and the notification and feedback of viewings was exemplary. A buyer was identified and pricing agreed well within 2 months of the launch of the sale process.
