Could have been another 5 star review..
checked out of a flat and left it in perfect condition yet after 5 weeks did not receive my deposit, called and for hours on the phone did not get anywhere other than Vicky trashing the landlord and keep repeating "we can not help you" and hang up on me.
Called again asked to speak with the manager who refused to apologise when I told him that Vicky hang up the phone on customers and was very arrogant.
landlady passed away and she told the estate agent to release the deposit but no once cared and was missed. had to wait further 2 weeks until next of kin made it in writing

Used Your Move to sell a shared ownership flat and whilst it wasn't plain sailing with our first buyer pulling out and then numerous delays which were not down to estate agent, I have to say Oliver at Your Move was patient and as informative as he could possibly be and went that extra mile towards the end, having to do the job of the conveyancer pulling out all the stops to get us our completion.

Absolutely raging with the letting team at Andover…… have reported leak damage coming into my flat from their tenant above with promise of attendances to sort it and look at damage repair only for no one to turn up, both hallway cupboard now soaked and look like this….. how far can I take this complaint???

I called for a property few weeks ago and I was told I would have been called back by someone, I believed what they said, so I waited, after a week still nothing so I called again and asked to see the property just to be told that the property has just been let. Very disappointed because I could have rented the property.

My partner and I arranged to view a property with Your Move and on the day, met with Joe and the viewing went very well. We made an offer on the property, followed by giving our best and final offer. We were then informed that the owners had had an independent valuation done as part of the process for repaying their help to buy loan and that the house was actually valued at £330,000, not the £325,000 guide price that Your Move had it listed at. We were advised that the property was priced at £325,000 as the owners were aware the property needed some work to it. We spoke with Joe to find out if we would be able to negotiate with the owners, we wanted to know whether they would be willing to do some of the work needed if we agreed to the new price, or if they could meet us halfway. Joe advised us that Oliver (branch manager) would give us a ring back. My partner eventually called the office back shortly before it closed and was told by Oliver that he had forgotten to call us. Oliver was not helpful at all with the feedback and essentially told us that if we wanted the property, we needed to offer £330,000. We decided to offer the new asking price the following day, and my partner mentioned to Joe that we were disappointed with the feedback from Oliver regarding the negotiations. Oliver called us back not even two hours after making our offer to tell us it had not been accepted. He opened the conversation by saying "Hi, it's Ollie from Your Move. I heard you're disappointed in me, no one has been disappointed in me since school" which we felt was an unprofessional thing to say. Then, when we asked whether the accepted value was in excess of ours, he said "let's just say the value wasn't the issue". That was then the end of the phone call.
This has been a very negative experience for us and has really put us off looking at properties with Your Move. As a young couple looking to purchase our first property together, this experience was really disheartening and has knocked our confidence with the purchasing process. We have emailed the Franchise Administration & Customer Relations Manager and had no response back.

Your Move in Andover were simply amazing! Out of pure luck we had noticed a property we liked the look of, within 24 hours of viewing it (and loving it!!) Oliver and his team had sold ours at the asking price before it had even gone on the market!! This enabled us to then be in a position to have our offer on the place we loved accepted!!

After being in a very stressful situation, having 9 weeks to move house, with a toddler and whilst heavily pregnant, Oliver and Phoebe have been absolutely incredible with finding our dream property (rental) and finalising everything with speed and professionalism.
Thank you Oliver! I didn't even realise it would be possible to rent somewhere so ideal, especially without perfect financial circumstances. You made me realise it was possible, you answered all my questions with honesty, you kept me in mind when properties came up, were quick at arranging viewings, kept me positive and constantly kept me in the loop. Then handed me over to Phoebe who seamlessly took me through the final process.

Estate agents withheld vital information from buyers, such as asbestos being in the house. single skin walling which will cause damp and mould. Obviously after they found the buyers withdrew there offer, especially as they had a baby! After speaking to the relevant people they have said the house should not really be on the market and that it would be very very hard for someone to get a mortgage on it!!

I have let my first property for nearly a year with Your Move in Andover after meeting several letting agencies. Amie valued my property and was very informative and helpful. Also, Evie worked hard to find a tenant for me and kept me informed until they found a nice tenant. Chris who runs the day to day issues for my place has been very helpful and responsive and also reactive. I am sure my tenant would speak highly of her too. Even their Regional Director Michael Gearing has responded to my email of thanks when receiving my Invoice and Statement of Account from himself. (And I am just a tiny man with one property.) That's impressive! I have no affiliations with these people other than them doing a good job running my home while I work away. So thank you all. I recommend them.

Last year I purchased a home via Your Move. Our independent surveyor said he found a high damp reading in the kitchen, so I contacted Your Move and said obviously I'm concerned and don't want to go ahead with the purchase until we know what's going on. I was informed that Your Move have damp specialists that deal with their rental properties and they'll organise it for me. Stupidly I trusted this. A few days later I received a call to say that their damp specialist found no evidence of damp or high readings, and I was told sometimes these anomalies happen on rainy days etc. We went ahead with the house purchase.
Days after I moved in, I found that the kitchen wall was so damp that you could push your finger far into the concrete wall. I was devastated. I contacted Your Move who told me that the estate agent I had dealt with no longer works there, and that was it.
11 months later and the wall is still really damp, and I still have the 'sold' sign taking up space in my back garden.
I just want to warn anybody buying your first home - find and use your own surveyors and specialists.

When she called the next morning we were offered an appointment on the same day, late on a Saturday afternoon with Amy.
Amy was prompt and immediately very friendly, even when struggling with a stuck front door!
We immediately felt at ease during the viewing and Amy answered any questions we had.
During the paperwork processes which were all new to us. Amy explained them all easily and clearly.

Recently I have been dealing with Daryl who has been extremely helpful in building a very professional relationship and an individual service. He has gone out of his way on many occasions over the past few months. He always follows up any issues and makes you feel welcome, whether on the phone or in person.
I think Amie deserves a mention as she has been great and very effective in responding to any day to day issues I have had. She is always there to help.

The specifics of our house sale were not the easiest - we had a first-time buyer who was very uninformed about the whole process and had to be coaxed into each action needed. This was combined with their (not local) solicitor who was absolutely useless. Kieran secured the sale and did his best on our behalf to chase the buyer, inform them of their responsibilities and push the sale towards exchange. It was handed over to Vicki at the tense late stages and she also helped immensely and we have finally exchanged contracts. We’re very appreciative!

Very disrespectful! If you need to ask anything to the landlord prior to moving in, don't bother as they won't contact the landlord and will rent it to someone else within a day BUT they will tell you that they were trying to get hold of the landlord! Making you wait and then tell you that they rented it! They most be desperate for the money!
