28th Apr 2026 (6 days ago)Rent money sent to them on time and they still send threatening letters saying respond within 24hrs. We have asked for more information as they must have their records wrong. They fail to respond for days comes across as aggressive hipocracy.

8th Apr 2026 (26 days ago)One of the worst experience in letting properties.They are good on selling/buying properties,tricky and ignoring emails without response,lack of flexibility and not willing to communicate personnel at Abbey Wood branch!The handling of client funds in my situation has been particularly concerning.
2nd Apr 2026 (5 weeks ago)Just want to say a big big big thank you to these guys and especially Luke! Who went over and beyond for the sale of my freehold home. Luke handled everything from viewings, to tips, to the marketing and on going communication. Luke is a real people’s person who’s professional but approachable always. Luke was able to get me more for my property than rival agents valued it at and it was a smooth interaction throughout. Very grateful and happy, would recommend the agency and Luke to anyone thinking to buy/sell in the area. I’ve sold and purchased properties before and this was my best experience. Thank you.
24th Apr 2026 (10 days ago)I found a property to purchase being marketed by Chattertons Estate Agents. My initial viewing was hosted by Jen who was extremely welcoming, informative and helpful. After that, subsequent viewings were conducted by the fantastic branch manager, Doug Paterson. This sale/purchase was complicated by the fact that the elderly owner had gone into care and the sale being managed by her disabled son who was a long distance away. Doug had to act as liaison and there was absolutely nothing that was too much trouble for him, from recommending an excellent firm of solicitors who, with Doug’s input, were able to expedite the process to completion in 5 week, fantastic! So much better than the estate agent I was selling with, which was one of the big London agents and really didn't care. You could tell that Mark's clients matter to him. If I sell this house in future, I will 100% be using David Evans & Co to sell it.

4th Feb 2026 (13 weeks ago)I would never recommend someone to work with Johns and Co! I have had a tenant and without fail since the tenant has moved in the rent has never been paid on time. When they found this tenant they called me and pressured me everyday to say this would be a good tenant and how he was a student abroad and the country the student was from a country where they paid for their accommodation. There is not one month I have received this rent on time! I can’t stress enough do not use Johns and Co at no circumstance if you don’t want to be ripped off and stressed out!

From memorandum of sale to exchange in just 24 working days is no small achievement, and a real testament to Terence and Jamie. Terence was incredible throughout. He went above and beyond with viewings, always proactive and clearly invested in securing the right buyer for us, not just any offer. That made a huge difference. Given the current market challenges, we were particularly impressed with how the sale progression was handled. Communication was excellent at every stage, with all parties kept aligned and informed. Having previously dealt with two local agents where the experience felt adversarial and, at times, quite difficult, this was a completely different experience. Strickland were professional, supportive and genuinely great to work with. Highly recommend.

15th Apr 2026 (19 days ago)Joey at the Foxtons Woolwich branch was an absolute superstar! I landed from holiday to an email to say the landlord was moving back in after 4 years of me loving living there. After an overnight flight and exhausted - not ideal. I found Joey's details online, and I called and explained everything and he sent me several options right away. 1 of which looked like my perfect spot, so he got me a viewing right away and I got it! He is so lovely, friendly, funny, organised and helpful. I was and am, beyond grateful for him and all his help and advice moving it all through! I highly recommend him and also, everyone in the branch is super lovely when you go in :)
