Before choosing an agent, we had several larger estate agencies visit and provide valuations. While they all had their strengths, Sean stood out immediately. His professionalism, combined with a genuinely personable approach and obvious sincerity, set him apart from the others. We never felt like just another client; he took the time to understand our situation and was always approachable and honest. Throughout the process, communication was timely, clear, and consistent. Sean kept us updated every step of the way, which made what can often be a stressful experience feel much more manageable. It has been an absolute pleasure dealing with Sean and the team. We would not hesitate to recommend Harry Harper Estate Agents to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.
5th Jun 2026 (9 days ago)Went to 5 estate agents initially but chose to commission Darlows after a confident pitch from their lead agent. We doubted the valuation but were assured due diligence had been conducted, so we went with their expertise. Within 2 weeks, the person we had been dealing with left and we were asked to reduce the price by £25k. Photographs were poor and we had to have a second set created. For the 20 week period of the contract, we only had 1 viewing but the marketing report showed 2 as they counted the visit of the photographer being a visit. The 1 viewing we had, the estate agent asked if the house was listed in front of the potential buyers, which showed à lack of market knowledge, which left us lacking any confidence moving forwards. The 2nd person who acted as our contact has now left the branch and once our contract ends we’re looking to commission a new estate agent. Overall, an extremely disappointing experience and sadly, we can’t recommend Darlows to anyone.

Looking forward to renting with them!

She didn’t tell me what I wanted to hear, she told me what would maximise my chances of selling at a good price. I followed all her advice and sold at a better price than I’d dreamed of.

As an international student in the UK, I was unfamiliar with the renting process and found many aspects of it quite confusing at first. 4th Jun 2026 (10 days ago)Absolute cowboys ??????. Stay away from this shower. Plenty of other agencies out there who conduct business in a professional manner. This lot operate like their working out of a mate's garage. Comms is non-existent. Attitude and enthusiasm on the floor. Clearly all about the bottom line. I doubt they employ many people, and those they do are paid peanuts no doubt. Whereas I'm sure Mr Martin is very well off and maybe even some of his Co! It's simple really - AVOID.

26th May 2026 (19 days ago)I can’t begin to describe how impressed I was with Hannah. From the moment she took on my enquiry about viewing a studio flat, she genuinely took care of me. I had originally booked a viewing for a different flat which, after seeing it, I realised wasn’t right for me. I’m quite a direct person, and Hannah immediately picked up on my body language and what I actually needed. She then recommended an entirely different flat - one that hadn’t even been listed yet, so I would never have known about it. She happened to be free that same hour, added me to her viewing calendar, and met me at the property straight away. Everything after that was handled so promptly. She answered all my questions with clear, detailed information. This is my first time renting on my own, and she made the whole experience incredibly easy. I left genuinely impressed by her service, her confidence, and her knowledge. I’m so happy I chose Peter Alan. There’s a reason they’re the best at what they do -and Hannah is a perfect example of why.
