What a brilliant piece of estate agency - Massive thanks to Jonathan and the team at A&W for finding us our new home. We hadn't sold our home when we viewed the property but we loved the house and would be in touch as soon as we were able to proceed with an offer. Jonathan's creative thinking and conversations with owner enabled us to agree a purchase price subject to selling. Not only did Jonathan secure the house we wanted, he even found us a buyer for our home despite being out of the area and not on the market with A&W - just brilliant! He brought the purchasers to our home and we agreed the sale there and then! From the initial showings, I was kept up to date on progress from feedback on the property to offers. Very personalised service which resulted in an acceptable offer. We engaged Austin Wyatt to sell my parents property. We were very cautious and careful in our selection of our estate agent as my parents are getting on in years. The Park Gate office were happy to accommodate fully accompanied viewings and took time to both understand and explain options to my parents at the different stages of the sale. Once buyers were secured the team in the office helped throughout the legal process to iron out and bumps in the road as they occurred. I really cannot speak highly enough of the great team at Austin & Wyatt, Park Gate. They really go the extra mile and lean over backwards to help in every way possible. I bought my house through the Park Gate branch 11 years ago and was so impressed with the service I didn't think to go anywhere else when it came time to sell. I have to say Jamie and his team didn't disappoint! Jamie, Jonathan and Karen are all extremely professional and friendly people and their advice on the best way to prepare and market the property was invaluable. I was then thrilled when my house was sold in just the first few days of being on the market - and on only the second viewing! I also had an extremely helpful and unhurried interview with John their Mortgage consultant who was very knowledgeable and full of helpful advice. Jonathan also recommended I use the Countrywide group of solicitors and while I had some initial reservations on this, they have been absolutely brilliant too! Over inflated market value of our house to get our business, and gave false protenses of a buoyant market. Made whole process more stressful, some staff rude, our daughter has special needs and even though we accomadated all viewings, when we could not have viewings for a short period I was spoken to like a child and some staff clearly didn't respect our personal circumstances!! Long tie in contract, which is an unfair contract when you read all the ludicrous T&C's!! Read the small print and be cautious! We reduced our property over £35k now off market! Would NEVER use again!... Read more
