Had a wonderful experience with the Haart sales team in Stevenage with the sale of our house. Would highly recommend the team who work great together and get results!

Called three agents to get valuations.
The person you first speak to at any business sets the tone and Marley set the tone perfectly from my initial call, asked all the right questions at this initial stage, knew the local market and had direct comparables to hand and was very personable. I was pretty much sold at this point!
Andrew valued the property and again set himself apart from the other agents we invited in. Direct, professional approach with relevant comparable properties recently sold in the area. He could back his valuation which was higher then the other agents, and was very clear on the marketing strategy and approach that he and the team use to get the best results for the vendor. I knew they were the right agency for us!
Once we gave them the instruction to market the property the machine started moving. Photos were taken, the property went live on all the portals within days, the team previewed the property and had viewings lined up immediately.
The perfect offer was received within five days of marketing which we accepted.
During the conveyancing process Adam kept the momentum going and really pushed for the exchange and completion within the time frames we had initially given. The purchasers conveyancing team was a little slow at times but Adam kept the line of communication open and got it across the line.
I want to say a massive thank you to the Haart team in Stevenage…. We can now move on to our dream home and for that we are very grateful!

I had a great experience selling my house through Haart, Marley and Adam were both great, Adam carried out a great marketing campaign, he made sure I was happy with the photos and house advert and remained in contact through the process, even phoning to congratulate me when the sale was complete, Marley showed people round the house, kept me informed on progress and I felt he worked hard to make the sale and process go smoothly and be a success. I felt very supported and he kept me updated throughout the process.

At the start Andrew who came to value our home spent the time with us to fully explain the current market and our house position in it. He put together and explained the marketing strategy in detail that they would adopt to sell our property which to us seemed to be the best put forward compared to the several other estate agents who also quoted for us. He was patient, polite but never pushy.
On this we decided to go with Haart in Stevenage.
After being blown off course by the change of government and their inadvisable mini budget and the rise in mortgage rates, which threw the maket into reversal from a seller's maket to a buyers market overnight, Andrew returned to help us re-market our property in order to get a sale.
Marley, our sales negotiator, was always professional, pleasant, proactive and hard working in getting us a sale. Which with determination he did.
Therefore, we would recommend Haart Estate Agents Stevenage to potential property seller's and buyer's.

The listing and viewing side of things was very efficient, I quickly received an offer that I accepted.
Post offer acceptance, I was in quite a lot of contact with Haart, trying to get updates etc, and while it could take 2 days to return a phone call or needing to chase again, there was contact.
I didn’t feel that there was much effort by Haart in getting updates from the buyers side as I’d hoped - if contact wasn’t made with them then it’d be left until the next week to try again.
The service from mid April to completion mid june went from bad to worse - I received just one phone call from Haart during that entire 8 week period!
I had no other updates from them and had I not been in contact with the buyer myself (mainly due to how incompetent Haart were) I’d be chasing Haart for updates which is not what I paid for.
There were no weekly updates, no emails, literally no communication from them. They knew I was close to completing as my solicitor asked them for their final fee statement but I still heard nothing!
This turned out to be quite a complicated sale and wasn’t helped along by a brilliant after offer person - if anything the lack of communication made it all the more stressful as I felt ignored and that they were clearly only after a fee without doing any work for it.
I would recommend Haart to get you an offer but not to be useful in the really important part; to completion.

When selling our home we had Ben Starr looking after us, and just to say he lives up to his name, a Star. We have owned our house for 25 years and were very hesitant about moving but Ben assured us that everything would be ok and he would be there to support us from sale until completion so that our house sale would go smoothly. Following any appointments he would ensure he received feedback from the viewers and we were always kept well informed. During these difficult times he would ensure COVID guidelines were strictly adhered to by potential buyers which made us feel safe especially as we were shielding. Ben makes you feel like you are his only client and that your property is the only one he has to sell even though you know he is back to back on appointments he never makes your potential buyer feel rushed during viewings. Ben has even given great advice on what to consider when purchasing our new home. We are so grateful we had Ben @ Haarts selling our home don't know what we would have done without him.
