Awful experience, I have had mould in my flat now for 4 months. When ever it is cleaned it reappears in a week.
Reported multiple times still no progress. The damp has caused my extractor fan and lights in the bathroom to fail ( over a month ago)
The only Solution paint the ceiling in the bathroom... Was done a week ago and we have mould again.
Always look for a quick fix not the root cause.
Avoid if you want real service and to get the standard you pay for

With having bad experiences with letting agents in the past with their terrible service, choosing to come to A&Co Winslow was definitely the right choice.
These guys just made the whole application process for us so easy and there was constant communication throughout with updates to do with our application.

BOB IS ABSOLUTLY UNTRUSTWORTHY!!!
Please read the other one star reviews, Bobs has been mentioned a good few times for screwing people over to put some extra cash in his pocket!
So we put an offer in with Bob on a house we really liked, we were ready to get the ball rolling on purchasing the house. We had a few minor hick ups but we had a buyer waiting and we were waiting to buy. After a week or so of thinking that we were buying the house we wanted we called Bob to touch base and see what was happening. In which he told us we couldn’t have the house as he’s sold to some one else 4 days prior to us calling. Didn’t bother to let us know. Someone else had put a better offer in and that’s fine. I understand how it works. But Bob decided not to let us know as clearly we were no longer of any value to his work and so we were swept under the rug. Bob is clearly part of the reason that there is a reputation around estate agents and how they are often portrayed as untrustworthy.
A few days after this review was posted. Some matey from Alexander and co called me and tried to bribe me with gift vouchers, flowers and wine to remove it. I refused to remove this review and then they kept asking me what they can do to have this removed!!! I had to hang up the phone as he was starting to become a nuisance asking me the same question over and over and would t accept my answer
We told you when our first buyer pulled out, and we called you on the same day, within four hours to inform you that we had accepted another offer and we were okay to continue.
Bob who clearly is at fault for doing some kind of deal with his mate who was in fact the owner of the property we wanted to buy and pulled a fast one on us and got a few extra quid in his pocket.
BOB IS NOT TO BE TRUSTED, seems the type of bloke to scam the elderly!

Exceptional service. Alexander & Co Winslow were our buyer's estate agent, but they went above and beyond for us too. Communication was second to none. Even when there weren't any updates within the chain they'd send a courtesy email detailing this. Special shout out to Jill. She works remarkably hard in her role and is a real asset to the company. We found our forever home through them, so it's unlikely that we'll move again, but if it was the case; we'd use them in a heartbeat.

If I could give them 0 stars I would.
The worst mistake of my life was choosing to get involved with this company. The agents do not communicate with each other, are rude and do not care about their clients. When emailing about the property I was renting, I would not get a reply for over a week every time. They put a new door on the property that was a health and safety risk, so that when I was trying to move out I could not get my furniture out. The door would barely open to even get a shopping bag through. When addressing this, I was dismissed and told that it could not be true even when I provided images and that there was not anything they could do as they actually did not even manage the property, all they did was collect the rent which they failed to inform me before starting my tenancy. The paint on the walls came off and if it got wet it would strip fully off due to the use of cheap paint. When I did actually get a reply, it would be rude. The agents clearly just want to look good rather than actually be good. From my experience, they do not care if what they are doing is unethical or just plain out wrong, they just want to get their pay checks.

One can never know how well Firm A would have compared with Firms B & C when it comes to any property transaction, especially in relation to the sale price or rent eventually obtained, so one can only go on the general impression conveyed and trust the chosen firm to do their job (which is why one should never be too swayed by the indicative sale price put forward for marketing purposes).
I had no prior knowledge of Alexander & Co. but they made all the right noises and I was very happy with the efforts of their sales team in keeping me informed of viewings, etc. Once interest is expressed they have other staff who work solely on the negotiation and progressing aspects of any transaction and this seemed to work smoothly; indeed my overriding impression of Alexander & Co is that they work extremely well as a team and cover for one another as appropriate.
No negatives come to mind and they certainly didn’t upset or annoy me, and that in itself is quite an achievement, especially over a period of six months. In the absence of knowing how any other agent would have handled the matter in their stead, I have no hesitation in recommending the Winslow & Buckingham offices.

We purchased our property through Alexander & Co; and I have to say I was very impressed with the service we received.
Not only was the team friendly and helpful; I was surprised on how much communication we had received from Alexander and Co about the progress of our purchase. Our previous experience with other estate agents had not been so pleasent; & normally we would have to chase the estate agents for an update.
Initially we had dealt with Rachael Briggs; who set up out appointment with the sellers at the time for us to view the property.
Initially they had reached there quota for the day but after a conversation with rachael explaining how much we liked the house, she managed to get us in to see the property, which we were so grateful for.
And of course we placed our offer!
At this point we were then handed to Bob Jones who explained it was 'best and final' offers only; as so many people were interested in the property.
Once we had been told our offer had been accepted; Bob talked us through what was needed for us to move forward.
With the support of Bob we found the process to be a lot less stressful due to the regular communication we had received from him. This we found made a massive difference to our experience of buying a property; especially when we had found our forever home.
I would whole heartedly recommend Alexander and Co; for the personal and friendly service that we received and would like to thank them all for making everything as stress free as possible. Especially Bob, who was brilliant throughout the process. We certainly will be passing your details on to friends and family.

Having bought my house through Alexander & Co Winslow (then Ella Homes) and after receiving excellent customer service, I decided to use them to sell and was thrilled to see familiar faces when doing so. Mark, Bob and Rachel were extremely helpful and personable from start to completion and having Jill's (after sales) support through the entire process made it so much easier and stress free.
The team showed great enthusiasm, knowledge and professionalism and as I client I felt appreciated and respected.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Alexander & Co and will certainly use them again in the future.

We have recently used Alexander and Co to complete on my new family house. Throughout the process all the team were great, Rachel and Bob showed us some amazing houses and always felt like they listened to our needs when looking for properties. Once our sale was agreed Jill, our Sales Progressor, was fantastic at liaising between all parties. It was a complicated sale (by no means the fault of the Estate agent) but at all times we felt the team were on our side and working for us. We would thoroughly recommend them to all!

We have moved house quite a few times now but this is our first time dealing with Alexandra and co and we couldn’t fault them at all. This has got to be the less stressed we’ve felt when it comes to moving.

We chose Ella as Mark was the only agent (out of several) prepared to actually give us a valuation on our aunt's property. Mark gave us some great advice on how we should proceed as it wasn't a standard sale. Very happy with the interest generated in the property and all viewings were conducted without any trouble.
The sale was agreed and completion took quite a lot longer that we desired but that wasn't Ella's fault. However, we got there in the end and our only gripe would be a lack of communication, particularly towards the end of the sale.
Mark and all staff were polite and friendly in any conversations.
