I approached Allen & Harris after two prospective sales of my house had fallen through with another agent. From the start the staff were very proactive and made me feel confident that my sale would be a priority and have their full attention. Initially I dealt with Sara, who was very helpful and got the ball rolling quickly. After that Janeal dealt with the sale and throughout was proactive, with great communications and frequent updates about the progress of the sale. Requests for information were always dealt with the same day. Janeal and all the staff in Penarth are friendly and very positive, so despite the inevitable ups and downs of a house sale I always felt everything was being done to ensure the sale would be completed as quickly as possible.
Based on the service I received, I have changed the letting of my rental property to Allen & Harris. They were recommended to me by a friend who is an estate agent and I would certainly recommend them to anyone looking to buy, sell or rent.

I am just able to give only 5 stars. Would love to give more stars to the fantastic work Katie and Lauren from the Allen and Harris Estate Agents, Penarth branch have done for us with our house move . Having had a bitter experience with two other letting agents initially we were sceptical, however Katie helped with us by providing updates on the property and also kept us posted on the progress.
On the other hand Lauren at the branch answered to every call I made which I have not experienced with any other letting agents, because I will be offered call back where they don't get back to us. But Lauren answered all call and called me back as promised for any updates.
Excellent example for customer service!
I wish them both all the best for their future endeavours.
I would recommend Allen Harris, Penarth Branch without doubt

I have been looking for a suitable property for the last 15 months. Covid struck and it was impossible to even get through to an estate agent, let alone getting a viewing, as the demand was so high, with very little available properties. The times I did get a viewing was with Millie. Millie was always human, and by that I mean, she would always answer my emails and fit me into a viewing as she knew how desperate I was.
I`m happy to say that after 15 months of stress, Millie helped me secure a rental property which much better suits my needs. I have just moved in and I`m very thankful for the service I received.
I hope to settle in my new home and know if I have any problems, Millie will be at the end of the phone to help.

I am extremely disappointed at the level of professional incompetence and callous disregard I have experienced at the hands of the team at Allen and Harris Penarth. The property I agreed to lease was in terrible condition when I arrived. I was told by Lisa Snooks the property was to be cleaned before move in date but this was not the case. The refrigerator and freezer were mouldy. The oven and extractor are inoperable and damaged. The heating units also inoperable and damaged. The foul smell emanating from the defunct dishwasher. The list goes on and on. But instead of helping the team at Allen and Harris Penarth are attempting to gaslight me into believing things are not that bad when these issues represent a clear breach of schedule 3 article 3.1 of the agreement. I would definitely not recommend Allen and Harris or the team members Lisa Snooks, Katie Duke and Millie Twyman as they all have displayed a total lack of professional competence. I now have to proceed with legal action against sequence U.K. due to the intransigence of these individuals.

I have to say historically I have had some poor experiences with letting agencies. But the team at Allen and Harris Penarth branch were superb. The decision to let a cherished family home was not an easy one for us. We had no experience of what was involved.
From the moment we met Lisa we felt reassured. Her knowledge and expertise were immediately apparent and we soon felt confident enough to let her manage the letting of the property.

Having been searching for a new rental property for over 2 years we had just about given up on the prospect of finding somewhere that will meet our needs. Fortunately, a property we fell in love with became re-available after we'd missed the opportunity. We were thrilled to hear from Lisa a short while later to let us know that we are the next in line. To tell a long story short, we jumped at the opportunity! I have genuinely never heard of this before and feel that this mindfulness, along with Lisa and Millie being in touch every step of the way has made us want to continue using Allen & Harris if we ever need to again in future. Lisa in particular is professional in a way that is completely personal and friendly which has added to the positive experience my family and I have experienced. I recently dealt with Allen & Harris as myself and my sister were looking to rent a property together. The whole process from start to finish was so quick, easy and efficient.
We were looked after by Millie who was so helpful and kept us informed throughout. Also getting in touch with our new landlord to sort other bits out on our behalf.

Cannot speak highly enough of the service offered by Lisa. Having had the purchase of a house fall through at the last stages, we found ourselves on the verge of being homeless, in the midst of lock down!
Within 48 hours of identifying a rental property, we were signing off the final forms and booking a removal firm. This is in no small part due to the service Lisa provided, she recognised the circumstances we found ourselves in and the stress it was beginning to cause and got to work quickly and efficiently. Throughout the process she was helpful, rapid in her responses and clear in her instructions and advice. In doing so, she didn't just help us find somewhere to live but also turned one of the most stressful periods in our lives into what now seems like a minor obstacle we needed to negotiate. We will be forever grateful.

Lisa has been absolutely amazing, she has maintained contact with me throughout the process.
Literally from finding my house online, and making touch with Lisa, the process has been so smooth. Lisa contacted me, sent me through the details and has hand-held me through the process personally.
I am now hoping to move in to my new home on 30/06/2020 and this will be all thanks to how brilliant, professional and communicative Lisa has been.

Absolutely fantastic service from this branch, wouldn't have sold my property through anyone else. After initially meeting Jean I knew he was extremely passionate and would do everything possible to get my sale done, he really did go above and beyond any service you could expect from an estate agent. Towards the end we came across a few hiccups but Sarah and Jean really did pull out all the stops to help get the completion through, and comunication from the team was second to none from initial adversining to viewings and then final stages. As a first time landlord I have been using Allen & Harris estate agents and all tho I’m only in the early stages of my dealings with them they have been brilliant so far can’t fault them in the slightest.
I had Ben come and value my property as I was curious of what it was worth as it stands. He arrived on time and he had done alot of research of houses values in the area before coming to visit and gave my a realistic valuation and explained why it’s valued in that way etc. Which I was more than happy with. He was an easy to talk to guy who came across very professional.
Recently I have been dealing with Lisa as I plan to let my property out and she has been amazing. She explained to me everything I need to know and do before I let my property out and took me through it all step by step.
Again like Ben she came across very professional and had done her research. She had even sorted me out a pack with all the information and contact details I will be needing. She clearly loves her job and takes pride in her work which I like because it gives me the security that my property is in great hands.
So far so good from Allen & Harris all round happy with their services and staff hence my 5 star review.
