Great bread and pastries, good prices, lovely small business feel - although you've likely ate their breads in various restaurants or cafes in the city. Don't expect sourdoughs; they keep it more traditional, but their delicious granary or seeded wholemeal loaves are top notch, for example.

I'm a fan of their pastries - the pain au chocolats stand out, or almond croissants. Get them early (ish) in the morning when they're at their freshest, hot from the oven. Get a loaf of bread while you're at it, make some toast, and you've got perfect start for a Saturday.

Fantastic range of breads and pastries. Great tasting, local and organic food. Brilliant service. Their mince pies at Christmas time are a must!

Really lovely to see an historic, traditional bakery still in operation in central Cardiff. Opening hours 3am until 1pm Monday to Saturday. Great place to get general supplies as well as weekend breakfast treats.

I highly recommend Allen & Harris!! Ben & James are highly professional and it took only a week from my family and I viewing the property to collecting the keys. The property is immaculate and of a very high standard. We had to move swiftly due to the previous property we were living in not being of a liveable standard. It was extremely important that we moved within the area due to my children's education. Ben & James worked with us to ensure this happened and found us a beautiful home as mentioned above. Certainly professionals with that they do!!!

Having made the error of selecting a random estate agent to sell my property I had to watch it fail to sell for a year or more.

I was then rescued by Allen & Harris at Talbot Green. Covid 19 caused a slight delay but when it was allowed to go back on the market it sold very quickly.

The communication was very efficient and regular. I was never left in any doubt regarding where I was in the sales process.

The members of staff who were responsible for this being a good experience were Claire Young and Alex Arvanitis. I would recommend them very highly.
