By far the worst experience with any estate agent I have ever had. When the short term tenancy is over they sent repeated lies about sending the full deposit back. On 3 occasions they said it was sent but they had not sent it. Left a review on trust pilot and they said they would get back to me but they haven't. Emailed and called countless times. Moved out August 18th and still no sign of a deposit return.
If you rent from Foxtons just consider your deposit part of the rent because you will not see it again.
Look into my rental case for SW112LT if you are reading this Foxtons.

Moved into our property over 4 weeks ago and have many issues unresolved. Regularly told that someone will get back to us or come to the property this week, but this never happens.
Issues such as:
- Mould & damp
- Dirty floors
- Broken lights
- Cupboard doors off hinges
- Broken taps & radiators
- Missing items & furniture
If you want to let a property the staff are extremely attentive however, once the contract is signed, no further support is given. Overall extremely unprofessional and poor. If you're considering letting, avoid!

I had heard bad things about Foxton's from the media and a friend, but I have to say that both Beth and Jenna were fantastic and provided a top notch service. I had a lot of issues with my conveyencer and Jenna was incredibly helpful and professional and got my purchase over the line. Excellent communication and very proactive. Would definitely recommend.

I have been desperately looking for a 1 bedroom house with a limited budget and a few demands. The staff at Foxtons, and particularly Sofia who helped to show us a few properties, were incredibly helpful, professional and caring. She really listened to what we were looking for and found houses that would tick the boxes. We got linked with different branches around the area and it was all a top experience. Her manager Shannagh was also incredibly helpful and reassuring.
I would definitely reccomend and would use their services in the future if needed.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. If I could give zero I would. They are apparently incapable of doing their own jobs. I can only recommend if you enjoy doing other people's job for them, chasing them up when they forget what their job is, and generally having them drain your soul with their incompetence.

Our move in date was moved by 3 days putting us through so much trouble. Then we were told the flat was professionally cleaned and everything was checked. Flat was filthy dirty when we moved in and the cleaners arrived after us. Then we realized the boiler does not work so no hot water, the washing machine is broken, the lights in the kitchen don’t work, the balcony’s drain is blocked and it’s like a swimming pool, the toilet seat is broken and the flush doesn’t work. The water has no pressure in the bathroom. 7 days on and nothing has been fixed.

Joanna at Foxtons was extremely efficient, helpful, and prompt to respond to my enquiries and on time to our viewings. As a first-time buyer, she was ready to answer all of my questions (no matter how basic!) and only showed me properties that she knew would appeal to me, therefore not wasting my time on inappropriate viewings. Can't thank Foxtons Lavender Hill Battersea enough for selling my property!! Had been through two other Estate Agents that were an utter disgrace. Initially at Foxtons I met with the fantastic Manager David and then realised Foxtons were on a much higher level of professionalism and put my trust in them straight away. Samuel took control of the viewings and with his dedication, diligence, goodwill and humour I knew he would get the job done. It had been a tough year for me but Samuel just went that extra mile. He has such a talent and is a special guy!

We had tried for over a year with other agents to sell our flat with little success. Having heard that Foxtons were good but expensive, and they are but boy they earn every penny.
The viewings to our empty flat were relentless with 2 maybe 3 a day which eventually paid off. Although the buyers solicitor had a multitude of queries, we were worried that during the Covid19 lockdown we would be unable to exchange or complete but Foxtons and our buyer made it happen. Working from home, Thomas Lebbern never gave up and as we live a distance, personally dealt with keys, meter readings etc.. on completion day. You get what you pay for in this world. Thank you Foxtons we recommend you to anyone.

She scoured all of South West London to help us narrow down our search and was very proactive; keeping in touch with how our search was progressing and calling as soon as she was getting a new listing to ensure we were able to view asap. She is very friendly and helpful, always asking questions to make us think about what it is we want from a property.
Her communication is excellent and she was always quick to respond to questions and queries. If you need a house to buy Vicky will do everything she can to find it for you.

Sofia was so friendly and extremely professional - keeping on top of everything, going above and beyond to help us find a variety of great flat options that matched our requirements. Having sold with Foxton's before, (and had no problems at all) it was obvious to me to use them again.
Just like before they found the buyer really quickly. This time it was different, as it was a complicated chain sale.
Should that be dealt with by different Estate agents, I think the sale would collapse.
What makes them different to other Estate agents (in my opinion) is the fact that they bring the people who look for the kind of property you actually have, what I discovered selling before with different agents. This time it was confirmed by my neighbour who put his flat on the market before me.
I would like to Thank David Law for professional overseeing the case and Mimi Tangney for the brilliant job throughout the whole sale.

Had the pleasure of dealing with Jack Carmichael from Foxtons Battersea recently. Even though the flat was at Brixton and was registered at the Foxtons there, Jack made the effort to come out at about half 6 on a Tuesday night to let me in and view the flat, which I ended up putting an offer on.

I had been having a stressful experience searching for a flat and dealing with many different companies and estate agents. I called Foxtons and spoke with Dinyo Dyankov, he offered to show us around a handful of properties in an evening to give us an idea of what was available. As soon as we met Dinyo he was friendly, enthusiastic and most importantly he listened to what we wanted. We had viewed countless properties before meeting Dinyo and somehow the first property he showed us was perfect. Dinyo went above and beyond his job description, he helped us put in an offer which the landlady accepted, but he also put in time outside of his normal working hours to let us view the property again to make sure we were happy and stayed in contact every step of the way to make sure we were doing everything we needed and had all the advice we could ask for. Dinyo made a very stressful situation manageable and without his help I know we wouldn't have found such a perfect flat. I would highly recommend Dinyo - if you want someone that is kind, that listens to what you want and who gives you time for all types of silly questions then go in and ask for Dinyo. You will not be disappointed.

We recently let a flat through Jack Carmichael (at the Foxtons Battersea Office) and were incredibly impressed with both Jack, and the service from Foxtons in general. Jack was eager to understand our needs from the get-go, and from the initial meet and viewings, to the negotiations, signing and right through to the move-in process, he continued to keep in contact to make sure the process was a smooth one. Amazing experience with Foxtons...
I must admit I've had a couple of bad experiences with agencies, and the thought of finding a new house, was one that gave me an automatic headache.
Well, all of that has changed.
After we contacted them about a property we had seen online, which they booked a viewing for immediately-- We were contacted back with an offer to show us a couple of properties, by Mr Dinyo Dyankov.
He asked us about our requirements, super friendly, and 2 days later he drove us to 4 properties, all in the same day, and that was it, we were done. The properties were exactly what we were looking for, it really felt like he had listened to our requests, staying within both the area and the price range we wanted (which does not always happen with other agencies) in one single day we had found our new home, better even than what we had imagined :).
After that, Dinyo always answered our messages promptly and kept us updated, taking care of all contact with our future landlord.
With immense sympathy, and efficiency, taking care of all the paperwork, everything.
Made the all process almost relaxing, friendly. We will definitely contact him and Foxtons again, next time we move.

Very good experience with Dinyo Dyankov. We dropped in one Saturday morning just by chance and within an hour he had put together a number of really good properties, one of which we took immediately upon seeing. After that he was very efficient and helpful with all the paperwork. Super friendly guy, knowledgeable and not at all pushy. Definitely helping to give estate agents a good name. Would happily do business with him and Foxtons again.

I begrudge paying the 2.5% plus VAT fee, but have always ended up using Foxtons because they deliver, and get prices that more than account for the 1% differential in fee. And the Foxtons Lavender Hill branch have just delivered again for me - getting a buyer within 4 weeks of my flat being on the market, and helping me negotiate a good price on the house I wanted to buy. Top marks.

They did a good job selling our flat and helping with the purchase of our house. James Reddington in Balham and Gareth Jones in Battersea were particularly helpful as the agents on both ends of the chain. Their team did a great job of getting a huge number of viewings booked in a very short space of time and found us a buyer to complete in time so that the chain didn't fall apart. You get what you pay for.

I was looking for a flat when Dinyo from Foxtons gave me a couple of options and after a quick conversation over the phone he immediately knew what to show me. I was in a big hurry to find it and because of Dinyo I found it in a week. Actually, the first house he took me to was the one I ended up in. It was to get it as they had so many offers but he helped me out with the negotiations and was available to discuss any requests. Also, he was always smiling and super positive. Look for him if you're looking for the perfect flat.

He has a good empathy and worked really hard to show us as many properties as he could. Really happy with this agency. I recommend it.

Totally appalling, arrogant and incredibly bad mannered. The lady who poses as the head of the agency must be getting kick-backs from the cleaning agency and others. Cleaning the 2 bedroom flat costs 270 £, and they charge another 165 £ for what they call a "check-out", by which a man comes for 5 minutes and does nothing but request signatures from you. I feel that this is just one big racket going on there on unprepared tourists and foreigners who do not know any better. That kind of behaviour is scandalous.

Foxtons are very good for everything UP TO WHEN THEY'VE MADE THEIR SALE/RENT CONTRACT.
Their follow-up afterwards is worse than anything I have ever seen before in my life.
Their tenancy department is NOT open on weekends, which isn't convenient AT ALL. Even when you're trying to reach a person they always tell you that "That person cannot take your call at the moment".
If you have an urgent request, they'll come back to you with their standard "we have a 48 hours email return policy".
I wouldn't recommend Foxtons to anyone. I would actually advise people to AVOID FOXTONS.
I wish I could put 0 stars rather than 1...

Their agent lied to us openly about the situation of the sellers; stating that they had already exchanged. When we found out that they had not even had an offer accepted (they were using the same agent so he was well aware of their situation) and had decided to withdraw their property from the market we had already lost a significant amount of money to surveyors, solicitors, and so on.

I had a really good experience dealing with Foxtons through Francesca Hanley, I started my property search early and Francesca really took the time to understand my needs and showed me a variety of places that were suitable, she was very patient and never pushy, which made us very comfortable working with her. When we wanted to expand our search, she even introduced us to agents from other offices, one of which eventually got me the 'perfect' flat that ticked all the boxes. Even after I was no longer dealing with the Battersea office, she continued to check up on my progress and was genuinely delighted when we got a flat. She really made searching for a new place stress-free and enjoyable. For that I would really recommend working with her!

Able to understand our needs and find the property we wanted the time we wanted. The only downside was that they could have advised that we could option for the break clause but did not do so. They drafted a contract that was silent on it. We understand the reason for doing it, but I would rather them been impartial. However, I would use them again because a) they make good plans for viewings, b) have good properties, c) understand out needs and d) are open extended hours.
