Had a viewing booked with michael i believe, can’t remember his name, was say waiting at the property for 20minutes and noone was picking up the phones or bothered to notify me of any changes, very unprofessional and rude to waste a clients time. My husband and i took time of work only for it to be a waste.

I would like to acknowledge Therondo, the Lettings Manager at Bairstow Eves, for the service he provided. His customer service was consistently excellent, and his expertise was evident throughout the entire process. Therondo was very punctual for the house viewing and took the time to engage with the previous tenant, allowing me to ask all the pertinent questions I had. He assisted me in finding a suitable property, and the entire process was managed with great care and professionalism.
While the branch office phone line was always busy, which was somewhat frustrating, Therondo was always reachable on his mobile phone.
The offer stage and referencing process were very fast to pass, however, the process regarding contract and the email communications for clauses and information have been quite slow.
Overall, I am satisfied with the service provided and would highly recommend Bairstow Eves Norbury.

Billy was a great help in acquiring our first property. Although our initial experience with our first property was slightly frustrating, this was due to the vendors and Billy did everything he could to resolve the situation. When we finally withdrew from the initial property, Billy knew what we were looking for and found us a property and turned the sale around in around 7 weeks. Billy is honest and is extremely helpful, and despite the issues I would highly recommend going to see him and give him and his services 5 stars.

Salal Hassan at Bairstoweves Norbury
Salal has been amazing from start to finish. Once the property became live he managed to arrange viewings for us in no time at all. He was transparent and stood out from all the other agents we had viewed properties with.
We were particularly impressed with how once we made our offer he was very attentive and efficient by keeping us in the loop throughout journey and even managed to support us in finding an incredible mortgage broker and conveyancing solictors!
He has always been there on the other end of the phone or email to answer any questions we had. Sal went above and beyond in the service he offered us, during the sale process he followed up with the seller and their solictors on many occasions to ensure that the process was seamless and time efficient.
His impeccable service didn’t stop once contracts had been exchanged! Even after the sale had been completed, salal ensured that everything was seamless (from making sure all the keys were there etc)
His professionalism and knowledge has been second to none, the best we have ever come across. Salal is a credit to Bairstoweves Norbury.

I was struggling to sell my house for 8 months through another estate agents but they sold it within 10 days! Even though that deal fell through which is no fault of theirs they sold it again to another buyer within a week! They walked the talk. I really enjoyed dealing with both Mcdole and Salal at Norbury branch. They were both very professional and courteous. More importantly they were flexible and always answered phones or called back and kept me updated. It was a very stressful time for us but they helped all along the way and made sure it was a success in the end. Look no further if you want to buy or sell your home.

I took 1 bed flat 23.02.2020
from Bairstow eves I left it from there last month 23.02.2021 . I paid rent deposit 1080 pounds to Bairstow eves 21.02.2020 by card . When I ask to release my deposit they are saying they not responsible for the deposit and also they said you have contact landlord. I emailed to him 3 weeks ago he is saying he can’t give my deposit back because cost of damage £ 17000. I don’t know what to do Still didn’t get my deposit back and also poor customer service. Thanks

16/08/2017 Third time I have used services of Bairstow (Norbury). This time I have sold my flat in CR7.
Again five stars as before. I was not satisfied with my previous solicitors in the past. The manager Jack recommended to try their Countrywide Conveyancing services. That is next level in solicitor services. Estate agents support the buyer and seller sides and communicate with the solicitor team. Everything trackable, text message confirmation included and solicitor team informing about your next step. Time saving process and precise like a swiss watch mechanism.
Taylor, Jack and Billy managed my sale, I appreciate their work.
20/03/2017 I have purchased my second property with assistance of Bairstow (Norbury branch). Both instances experienced 5 stars service. I would highlight the mortgage adviser service and customer focused agents especially Taylor and Jack.

This was my first time letting a property and dealing with Bairstow Eves. Before making my decision I engaged with a number of letting agencies to get the best deal. Some were too expensive, others didn't respond, some were too pushy etc.
In the end I decided to engage Bairstow Eves because 1) they were very responsive, Blake and Sean were very attentive and easy to engage 2) when I met Sean I felt I could work with him. He was honest and open with me.
Soon after I got a private offer to rent the flat and told Sean I no longer needed his services. I was surprised by how understanding he was.
Unfortunately a few weeks, the private rental didn't come through and I went back to Sean and he was very welcoming.
Since then the service from Sean (and Blake in his absence) has been outstanding. Sean calls me nearly everyday to give a short update on progress etc. He has made the rental of the property hassle free for me. I feel they are people you can trust.
I would highly recommend Bairstow Eves if you are considering renting or letting a property.

My husband and I are first time landlords and were not very confident facing the future with letting and dealing with tenants. We had an empty flat and simply needed it rented!
Anton came to view it....let me pause and say, 'Anton was the man for the job!!!!' He is extremely knowledgeable in the housing field and was a joy to meet. Within 3 days after visiting the flat, the team found someone who signed up straightaway. I get the feeling that even if things did not move as quickly as they did, they would have pulled out all the stops to make it happen. The team are keen and proactive. 'No-one drops the ball' They are very friendly and put you at ease the moment you walk into their office. I’ve been dealing with estate agencies in London for a long time, but Bairstow Eves in Norbury is the worst I ever had to work with.
Never replies to emails, they are never available when you need them and they are delaying to refund my deposit for over 10 days, this has never ever happened to me before. How rubbish they are!
I gave 1 star because I couldn't give nothing.

What a joke. The estate agent called me to double check if i will be on time but arrived late because she was on a call. Suggested a place without a garden when it is my first priority. Still kind of force me to visit. First impression a big leak in the entrance. I parked and had 10 mins for free as any car park in london but due to her being late almost got a fine for a flat i didnt want to visit. Then moved to the place i actually wanted to visit. Had to wait for 10 mins again. Tried to call, not answering. She was on a call with a friend. Then started to bother me about the fine ticket and i told her im a bit upset cause all of this happened cause she was late. She kept insisting. Wow. Run away from this agency, the agents are absolutely not professional and will charge you a fortune and not being on time for thwur clients.

I was introduced to Anton Harvey through friends and family who already use Bairstow Eves to rent out their properties. Me and wife were clueless about renting and had no choice but to work with an agent. I worked with Anton to rent out and really can’t say enough good things about him. Highly recommended. I met three estate agents and after meeting Jack and seeing how considerate, thorough and straightforward he was I knew these guys would have my best interest at heart and they would get the job done - which they did. They are very straightforward and good eggs.
Billy looked after me throughout the process and he was absolutely brilliant. Didn’t give up when things seemed to be going wrong, did lots of chasing, listened to my whinging, stayed on top of everything and always kept me in the loop - much more than just doing his job.
Selling a house is stressful (especially when you’re doing it on your own) but Billy undoubtedly took much of the pain out of the process for me and I really can’t thank him enough!

DO NOT use the estate agent in Norbury, the staff are very rude and ignorant and very unprofessional. We used them to let out a flat, they failed to carry out background/reference check on the tenants. As to 2 different tenants did not pay rent for over 1 year, we eventually managed to take them to court and get them out of the property,after spending over £5000 on legal cost. I almost lost the property for not being able to pay for the mortgage as the two different tenants failed to pay rent and this is all down to the estate agent which despite this continued to charge their management fee.
I 'm not really sure why the office in Norbuy has not been closed down yet!! I will be going to property ombudsman with evidence of all the misconducts carried by Norbury office and the overall financial burden left on me.

Zamu Baballa and Anton Harvey (manager): 2 unprofessional rude people who are currently working in Norbury branch . I'm going to explain Why. First of all a year ago we have been paying 650£ in administration fees for references and making sure the house was cleaned professionally and have contract signed on the day and emailed to us.( a bit pricy for this services But well we decided to go ahead) But none of that have been done except the references of course. This is not the worst, a year later after finally leaving the house. They do not want to release our deposit.. They are saying that they need landlords to be agreed on wether or not it should have a deductions from our deposit. And they are right. But the thing is a week ago miss Zamu have written an email stipulating that the landlords have confirm that they will give us back the full amount of the deposit.. All they need to do is to give us the instruction for us to release our money with the deposit organisation. Since then after telling us that they will give us the instruction last Monday , we have been chasing them literally by fone,emails, texts and no one replied to us.They are ignoring us. When calling the office they are always busy or out of the office. We have let so many messages to call us back to send us the instruction but no still nothing. It has been now for a month and 1 week since we leave that house. They don't have time for us.So I don't know what is happening and why they are acting that way but we are more than disapointed we are exhausted with them So unprofessional and bad services, very rude people. They should not have stars at all.

We are very disappointed with all the service provided, specially with Zamu. We rented a property with her last year. The day we needed to enter, we didn't have the keys. When we finally got them and entered the property, the house was full of furniture that we weren't aware. As the house was advertise part furnished we asked for a list of furniture it came with but never receive it. Now we left the property, and after a month of moving out, we haven't receive the deposit back yet. We know that the landlords have accepted to return it but the agency hasn't done the paperwork required for us to get it back. Overall, a very incompetent agency. We wouldn't recommend this agency and brunch to no one.

After having a terrible experience with a competitor estate agents in the area, I cannot tell you how wonderful Bairstow and Eves (Norbury) have been.
Billy Hunt is one of the most honest and compassionate estate agents around and his made a personal effort to maintain communications at all times between us as the sellers, the buyers, solicitors, and every other person involved. Jack Meddings and Taylor Hughes are also fantastic and the three of them work very well as a team always on track of what is going on.
Don't go with anyone else in the area to sell your house. Don't be tempted by online companies or the big chains. Go with Bairstow and Eves with reasonable fees and an amazing service.

The manager jack and the mortgage adviser ( a lady ) are extremely unprofessional and abrupt. They first asked for my mortgage in principle which they received and details of my property for sale in order for buyers to accept a sale.
Then they requested
1) I speak with there mortgage adviser to "qualify me". (I did so) however it was a pushy abrupt sales pitch who then insisted Pushing days after apparently qualifying me.
2) then the manager jack sends this seconds minutes after the reception on my phone cuts out " you are at Chessington hanging up me is extremely rude " when i DID NOT hang up and the reception is poor and he knew I was out and about.
3) they then told me to put my property on the market with them in order to secure the property I wanted with them (BLACKMAIL)
4) they then ask for a 10k non refundable desopsit in advance of sale.
apalling experience especially for a 5months pregnant women. I do not recommend using them unless they all go elsewhere and the only genuine member of the team billy takes over the whole branch.

I used them few times but not happy at all. For rental they rented my flat to another agency which I was shocked when I went to the flat and the tenant told I rented the flat trough another agency like a rent guaranteed agency.
The manager Danny is very rude guy and with really high temper and wonder how come they are still in the business.

Within 48 hours of marketing they had two excellent proposals, to my delight they were difficult to chose between. I did however and what followed was a comprehensive and efficient referencing process and within a week the tenants had moved in!
