    Barnard Marcus have been very helpful when it came to selling my property. I made an enquiry about a valuation because I saw their board and noticed Barnard Marcus was the only agent with another property on my road. The branch manager Ashley was very keen on coming round to value as she said that the sales team have many disappointed buyers because they missed out on the last property similar to mine. When Ashley came round she went through her presentation on the iPad and made it very clear why Barnard Marcus are the market leaders. When my property was finally on the market, Sash one of the negotiators had brought two couples round within only 3 hours of going online. I received a call the next day saying I had 2 offers both over the asking price, the sale of my property was agreed within a few days of my property going online and I was amazed I got £13k over asking price. I would recommend Barnard Marcus to anyone who wants good service, great price and a helpful sales team.

    Disgraceful Company - They are liars. They arranged an appointment on behalf of my Landlord for a valuation of the property for insurance purposes only. When the day of the appointment came, Estate Agent turned up with a family to view the property. When asked, they informed me that my landlord wishes to sell. I contacted my Landlord afterwards and he confirmed that the house is not on the market at all and will not be for the foreseeable future. He only asked for a valuation. So ended up showing complete strangers around my home which was upsetting and stressful.

    This review is specifically for Michael's mortgage services at this branch of Fox & Sons. My partner and I purchased our first home a few months ago with Michael's help. When we were first put in touch with Michael, we were very sceptical and dubious about what he could offer, especially with the number of horror stories that are passed around about mortgage advisors linked with estate agents. Even though we were very stroppy and demanding at times, Michael remained professional, friendly, and honest (which can be so rare when buying a property!), so gained our trust very quickly. We were one of the unlucky ones and had a number of properties fall through, which meant it took about a year for us to purchase a home. Even thought we had to go back to him two, three, four times, Michael always treated our case with the same sense of urgency that I would have expected from being a first time customer. He really goes above and beyond what is expected from a mortgage advisor - he often worked late into the night to help us push our files through and would call other estate agents on our behalf to help smooth over issues. The first time buyer experience is generally not a pleasant one, but having had Michael as our mortgage advisor eased the burden significantly. I can't recommend him enough, and will definitely be going back to him in the future!

    Twice I have phoned to try and arrange viewings on properties this week. Twice I've been told I will be contacted back and have heard nothing. Poor estate agency. Poor customer service steer clear if you ask me!

    Unbelievably poor service. Consistently fail to call me back regards properties that I've requested information on. No response to emails via Rightmove. On 3 occasions recently I have had viewings by appointment where on arrival the property could not infact be viewed.Yesterday I went to an open house viewing where basic information regards the property were not available. Having bought and sold a number of properties through this agent in the past I dispair now when I see their name involved. I have been in contact with a number of local agencies recently and indeed just sold my house via one and the difference in service level has been positively different with out exception.
