Abysmal service for tennants. Still awaiting deposit to be returned 6+ weeks later. Beware of this estate agent. This estate agent do not care for tennants I was without heating and hot water for months, their excuse is the landlord opted to self maintain the property. They do not help, do not reply to emails. More alarming is I HAVE NOT YET RECEIVED my DEPOSIT funds out of dispute over 1 month later. I paid rent in full on time, left the property early on 25th May, 7th July I am STILL awaiting payment. I called 4 times over a week to get a reply which then received contradictory information on if the payment is made or not. I am owed £1,171 and so far told it is authorised and takes 5 days to clear. It's been 10 business days Absolutely unacceptable. I paid 3 months in advance + deposit of £2048 + guarantor. Yet they cannot reciprocate returning funds in a timely manner. Worst experience of renting.... Read more

Amazingly friendly and professional We have just completed our house sale through Bairstow eves Billericay. We initially spoke to Jane Crosland at the Southend branch who was incredibly helpful she gave us brilliant advice. Unfortunately she couldn’t sell our house as we weren’t in the Southend area so she referred us to the Bairstow eves Billericay branch. Steve Harris came out to value our property. He was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. He gave us realistic and honest advice and no pie in sky nonsense . He valued our property perfectly as it sold in about a week of going on the market. He had good knowledge of the local area, prices etc. we had 3 different estate agents visit and Bairstow Eves literally outshone the other local estate agents. Tina Fernandez all I can say is wow what an amazing person she is. She went above and beyond. She dealt with everything from booking our viewings, liaising between us and the buyer. She was at the other end of the phone ready to answer any query we had. She helped from our home going on the market to completion. She really is an asset to Bairstow Eves.
