Update 27th August 2024 - Back to one star, again a letting sign has been left to rot at the same property for weeks on end. What is wrong with collecting your signs up. It's very stupid making the estate look like a tip as property prices drop and guess what - so does your commission on sales.
Original Review: Wrote an online email to Beals Park Gate to come and remove a "To Let" sign left behind a dustbin over the road from where I live in Badgers Copse. That was at least 4 weeks ago and it's still there making the place look a mess.
Something like this which is so simple to rectify - i.e. phone the guy that puts up the signs to collect it would be the obvious thing to do. But no - they ignored a system email and made a local never likely to use them ever.
No doubt this will make them do something - the sign is on the right hand side of Badgers Copse when you enter from Telford Way - not the last house but the one before.
Update: 29th Sept 2023. The sign has been removed after all this time so I've amended the 1 star to 3. Respectfully suggest that you remove signs within sensible time and not leave them laying around - 2 weeks after sale or letting would be sensible!

Searching for a property to rent locally, contacted Beals, took some personal information from me over the phone, got a viewing the next day. All was great!
A member of the team showed us round the property, which looked fab. Just what we were after.
However I asked how to pursue to secure the property, to have a reply of ‘we have received many emails about this property and had to ignore most of them due to the high demand!’ ….but just reply back to my viewing confirmation email.
So I got home, replied back to his email asking to persue. 48 hours later still no reply, I called the branch to be told the estate agent would call me back.
The next morning I receive an email ‘Unfornalty the landlord isn’t willing to go with yourselves this time. We do another 2-bedroom property on. I can send you over this now for you to look’ - this was the spelling too, again not very professional.
We were dishearten but respect we may not be what the landlord is after. But no 2 bedroom property ever sent to us.
I really felt like I was a number to get up the viewings on the flat, no real compassion or listening to our needs to persue anything else. Very unprofessional. Would not recommend Beales Parkgate.

Initially I wanted to use Beals as a first time seller as I didn’t do much of a shop around, Emma was friendly and easy to get on with upon the initially visit and for a while after.
I decided to go with them but I was then advised by friends and family not to use them due to poor experiences, I did a further research and decided not to continue and I cancelled within the 14 day cooling off period as it’s within my right to do so if I wish. Unfortunately this wasn’t taken lightly and I was then receiving intimidating and bullying type emails from Emma, which if I’m honest it’s quite disgusting behaviour and I asked them to stop contacting me.
Since then I have been advised by multiple
Individuals that the branch is known for their awful approach to customer service, which to be honest after the back and forth emails from Emma isn’t a surprise. The disappointing factor is if you wish to complain further you have to send a letter, you cannot even email anyone from their head office. I don’t think that there is much care around customer service, and if something doesn’t quite go as they wish it seems you’re in the firing line. I don’t think the behaviour I experienced from Emma is at all okay, I had to call them to take my property of the market since they would not reply via email. Personally I would not use this branch for selling nor buying, if one of the management think it’s appropriate to act the way Emma did.

Be very careful renting through Beal's.
My husband and I moved I to a property managed by Beal's. When we got there the only 1 of the keys worked. With our furniture in the van we needed to open the back door. We did not have a key for the back door neither did the agents. Thankfully they called out a locksmith to let us in. The lock on the door could not be replaced due to the mechanism within the door being broken and in need of replacement. So, we are left with a property we cannot lock. Rendering our Insurance invalid. I have had to stay home, not going to work amd am losing money every day.It is nearly 1 week since we moved in and STILL nothing has been done. Emails go unanswered and the manager has not called me back as promised.
Reading other reviews on here I feel absolutely cheated because the service we have received has been absolutely terrible.

Oliver and Kelsey Anne have been extremely good at their jobs and have helped me a great deal in very trying circumstances when my tenant had a fire in my property and my husband died a few weeks later. They have supported me throughout the refurbishment and were excellent when organising and attending viewings especially as one of the neighbours made a nuisance of herself when they were trying to show prospective tenants around. While renting through Beals they were very slow to respond to any matters.
As far as I was aware while renting they have a duty of care to the tennant. This is not the case, they side with the landlord no matter how bad they let the property get.
I would not reccomend them at all to let through. All they are interested in is getting the rent.
I had no end of problems and they wouldn't even help me with issues after I decided to move out. AVOID.

DO NOT RENT THROUGH BEALS!
Myself and my girlfiend viewed a property with Beals numerous times and put down a holidng deposit. Our referencing went though as normal and we were all set to move in. The estate agent then couldnt get hold of the landlord for weeks to ' confirm our tenancy' yet we were told everything is going as planned and we had nothing to worry about as he lived in america so it can be hard with different times. We understood this and as we were told everything will be fine we gave notice to our current landlord. BIG MISTAKE!
4 days before we were due to move in we were told they cannot get hold of the landlord (barring in mind there is new tennants moving into our current property) ovbiously we were devistated and didnt understand how this could happen but put it down too him deciding to rent privatley and it was agreed this is most likely the case.
Much to our disbelief as our moving date is meant to be THIS Friday they have re-put the ad on Rightmove and given us no explanation!!! We are have protentially been made homeless through this Estate Agent for absolutley no given reason and I wouldnt want anybody to go through the stress we have because it has really had an impact on my mental health.
Please be careful when renting through Beals, we will not make this mistake again.
