Everyone at Belvoir is lovely and incredibly helpful. First time tenant so very unsure of the process but Katie and Emily made it very easy. I got viewings within a week of calling. The viewings were at my own pace and very thorough in comparison to other letting agents. There was no pressure in the process and they answered all queries and addressed a small concern within the property. I had to relocate urgently due to the requirement of work and Belvoir staff was very friendly, helpful and efficient from the beginning. They booked an appointment for the property viewing on the same day I first inquired. Emily was very informative on prior and during the viewing and answered all inquires I had. From there until the signing of the tenancy agreement to handover of keys, Emily was very attentive and helpful throughout the process. Would recommend Belvoir to anyone without a doubt. The moving in process was smooth and easy, however there were numerous faults with the property which I've had to contact the Belvoir Maintenance team about (faulty blinds, washing machine not working, fridge freezer door breaking among other things). One of the responses from Belvoir was rather dismissive of my problem, suggesting it was user error rather than a genuine problem and therefore delaying the resolution.

From viewing and moving during lockdown, arranging repairs and the move-out process / deposit return, the people I dealt with were always friendly, responsive and helpful. I have rented for 18 years and had mixed experiences along the way...Belvoir have been the best by far. Why can't all letting agents be like this?

Me and my partner went to see a property on the 30th November, based in Salts Mill. As we were planning to look at another property, the person showing us around came 15 minutes earlier for our convenience!
After viewing the property, we then put forward our interest and they took the holding deposit the same day as the viewing! This then stopped any other people seeing the property. Amber then worked with both me and my partner, and helped us to complete the referencing needed, as well as the credit checks. Amber was very professional about it all, and I loved working with her. Within 2 days, we had been confirmed the apartment and set a date to pick up the keys!

We've been renting with Belvoir for the last year and a half with no issues. Although they have quite high criteria for accepting new tenants (thorough checks of income, proof of rights to remain in UK, etc), the quality of service is extremely high, and for us the office was right next to our flat which was very helpful. We had a lettings agent assigned to us, Jade, who was a star - any query we had, big or small, was chased up by her very quickly and always in a kind and professional manner. She was accepting of any difficulties we had, and provided lots of information on processes for move out and move in. Would recommend!

I came to property letting some 6 years ago engaging Belvoir to mange for me, the advice and direction offered by Belvoir has been central to the success of the project, many thanks to Glen.
Belvoir has given professional help and knowledge across all things. Problems encountered on the way including structural and regulatory requirements have been handled smoothly and cost effectively. Maintaining an amicable bridge with tenants ensuring that things do not escalate.
The whole team has been helpful and good to communicate with, shouldn’t mention names but Amie and Sarah have kept me supplied with statements and bills efficiently not forgetting Harry who has managed what to me are large items for example roof replacement, rewire and complete decoration with ease, not to mention speed.
I have the situation now of selling a property and have had no hesitation in engaging Belvoir to manage the full sale.
I would recommend Belvoir to any one considering renting out for the first time and the more hardened larger property owner.

As a property management company, they have served both myself and tenants exceptionally well. Resolving maintenance issues quickly and ensuring I was compliant in my legal responsibility towards my tenants. They also have been personally supportive during family illness and I trusted them to look after the tenants needs sensibly. In that they sorted minor issues while keeping me informed, only contacting me in more out of the ordinary circumstances. After my bereavement, they were happy to communicate with me more often; we returned to our previous level of contact. I am very happy with my experience of Belvoir.

Beware of this letting agent, they ripped you off in the deposit. I was charged for a light bulb for £10 and, dust over the heater and in the washing machine room and some hair on the carpet for £36 ( two hours cleaning charge). Even though they said I have returned the apartment in good condition, they deducted a total of £46 from my deposit.
They said they wanted to help their tenants to get 100% deposit back. That's a lie! They tried their best to take deposit from you and fined you for the smallest problems they could amplify.

I'm not a big fan of letting agents on the whole but Belvoir has changed my opinion completely! They not only look after their landlords but their tenants too :-) My personal experience with Belovir was with one of their agents, Jade, who sensed my distress re: the delivery of a replacement sofa that was tiny in comparison to its predecessor. Jade liaised with the delivery company and the landlord and managed to secure me a larger sofa! Can you believe it???
I am very happy with the service provided with Belvoir and hope to continue to work with them in the future whether it be in sales or lettings.

Avoid at all costs. Fine at the beginning to take your money but reported a maintenance problem 3 times and wasn’t fixed by the time I moved out. Was charged £153 for cleaning when i left to wipe the kitchen cupboards and change to light bulbs. Avoid!

We have been letting with Belvoir since Nov 2017. The initial interaction was very friendly and professional. There was no pressure from the agent from the outset.
We let a lovely 2 bedroom apartment and the only reason for leaving was to buy our own property with outdoor space. Had we not wanted to do that we would have been happy to stay.
It was a very easy let, the occasional inspection which was not inconvenient at all. We had the odd occasion to have some repairs done but the reporting process was simple and the work done in a timely manner
Upon leaving the property basic cleaning standards were expected (as normal) and the inspection was arranged at a convenient time.
All in all the experience with the Belvoir team has been very positive and would recommend them

Generally a good agent, and on the whole staff seem professional and personable but the team is let down by a staff member who seems completely out of their depth. It makes it very hard work if you're having to deal with this person: for example calling us whilst we were on vacation asking 'where have you left the keys so we can do the inspection because today was your last day in the flat', he was a full month premature in asking us this, and claimed that 'no one has written the date you're moving on the file', when actually it was this very person who I was liaising with regarding our move... Something else that was slightly annoying was that the inventory done prior to our move in stated that a few bits and pieces needed doing (such as a completely broken toilet flush, and a new part needed for the boiler), and yet these weren't completed before we moved in and we had to request them to be fixed. Sarah, the office manager, is very efficient and we went to her if we had questions or needed anything done without hassle or misunderstanding. If the need arose, however, as a tenant I would possibly use them as an agent again.

This letting agency is excellent as a current tenant of theirs i would really recommend them to anyone! They are super fast at replying to any emails! We had a small leak and they got a tradesman to sort out the problem the same day! Very friendly and provide an outstanding level of customer service. They have an online portal to log anything to do with the rental that is great and super easy to use! Very happy with the service they have provided us so far :)

The staff was very good but the preparation of the apartment was very poor, which has to reflect on the company. Many areas were not clean and the shower head didn't work, flying off at the first attempt at a shower. Great introduction to my new home.
The inventory was not correct in several areas, which is potentially very serious for the incoming tenant.
Fancy repair reporting system online but in view of my concerns, felt the company should have talked to me about these issues.
Also, I don't see why I have to go online to register a complaint or anything else. Being in the midst of moving is very stressful; a call from them would have been appreciated. Very poor customer service.

Craig listened to all our specifications and showed us apartments that suited us very well, within our budget. He was reassuring and did all he could do make the process straightforward. As someone who is new to renting, the help and guidance provided by the good people at Belvoir was enormously reassuring and went a long way to smoothing out all of the potential pitfalls. The check-in and check-out processes with friendly, smooth and efficient.
Some of the issues that I raised were quickly dealt with by a handyman who came over free of charge (to me) and fixed problems I had in the property I rented through Belvoir.
I felt that communication around other more complex issues could have been a bit better as I was unaware of actions being taken behind the scenes to rectify issues I had raised.
In general, my (and my partners) overall experience with Belvoir was a good one. To summarise:
- Efficient / Friendly Check-In.
- Efficient / Friendly Check-Out (Lots of useful information promptly provided on how to ensure a deposit is returned etc).
- Generally good communication (fast responses to e-mails).
- Some communication regarding more complex longer term issues could have been better.
If my partner and I had rented a different property with less issues through Belvoir, this rating may well have been 5 star.

I am reviewing as a former tenant and now as a landlord who uses Belvoir's managed service.
As tenants we were always kept up to date and any queries/requests we had were always answered promptly and very efficiently. The staff (particularly Glenn) were always very friendly and courteous. All in all it was a great experience.
As a landlord I decided to move to Belvoir from another letting agency partly due to my experience as a tenant but mostly as the services that Belvoir provide are much better and more value for money. I was naturally nervous about moving agents, particularly as I had great tenants in situ, but I was given expert advice throughout the process and needn't have worried as the whole process was very smooth and seamless - all I had to do was sign the forms, Belvoir did the rest! The staff again were fabulous and really helpful. They answered all my questions and alleviated any fears I had. My only regret is not having moved my rental property to Belvoir to manage much earlier!
I would have no hesitation in recommending Belvoir as either a landlord or a tenant.

Over the 5 years I have been a tenant with Belvoir they have been superb. Any problems or queries have been dealt with very quickly and efficiently.
My apartment has been taken over by another management company and I am very sorry to be leaving the Belvoir team, so much so that I am looking to rent a property through them in the complex where I live.

very efficient,friendly and prompt service. they were able to advise on appropriate marketing of my newly purchased flat for rental quickly,their handyman sorted some minor defects rapidly and at reasonable cost,and then they found suitable tenants within a couple of weeks of starting to market it.without them, i might have spent money unnecessarily and to no benefit. the standout though is real friendliness and personal feel to the service-no passing you from pillar to post here,things just get done.
